It is funny to me how people take what the recruiting services say as gospel. I asked brett about it and he said he never had plans or even an inclination to visit bama. I have no idea where rivals got that from.

You know those same people who you call funny for paying for info is one of the main reasons this site is worth anything at all? There would literally be no recruiting news on here without people generously sharing insider information.

Every thread in the recruiting forum would be about Derek Dooley's incompetence, the difference between a double cheeseburger and a McDouble, the gas mileage of a Toyota Prius, etc. without recruiting service info. The legit recruiting conversation from thread to thread stems from insider information. Otherwise, how would we even know who Tennessee offered to begin with, much less who's on campus right now for official visits?

As we reported on Sunday, Pittman (and possibly Chaney) are scheduled to visit with Tennessee commits Brett Kendrick and Josh Smith in Knoxville (Tenn.) this Thursday.

I don't see them visiting another school. It would not shock me at all if they give Chaney/Pittman the respect of allowing them to visit them. Allowing a coach to come to you and visit is not that big of a deal IMO. What's the kid going to do, turn off the lights and not answer the door? They could have said no thanks, we see no point in wasting our time or yours coach. i think it's more of a curtousey than anything.

Arky doesn't have many targets so they may as well visit these two. Bielema has been unimpressive thus far.

If Bielema does not surround himself with good recruiters that ship will sink. He has been a very poor recruiter in his career.

It seems all of his hires are guys that recruit Florida. They should target the Midwest IMO...not going to win a lot of battles in FL
