And honestly, I wouldn't have even made a comment to him if he wasn't a complete jack wagon to me. Telling me what I said was wrong. When actually, Eric Berry said EXACTLY what I quoted him as saying.

I'm sure that's the case. But in the last four years, you didn't really hear any appreciation from the coaches, ya know?

I'm glad Austin is doing so well. I cannot wait to hear what he says about running through the T for the first time!

I said if YOU want to take shots you COULD do that. Did not say you couldn't. Explain how that is controlling your posts. It is just he has a right to posts as well. Read my other posts as well, which you probably have by now, and you could see that as well.

I respect you. I disagree with you too, as you do me. You said what you felt as did I. As far as I'm concerned it's an agreement to disagree. That's as far as I wish to take it. I'm fired up about this young stud Austin Sanders. And I really really don't like Bama! How's that?

If I'm not mistaken, he went into senior season about 305ish, but dropped due to heat to about 295 for the remainder of the season. When we went on his official this year, he weighed 303, he got up to about 320after that and then and quit working out as much, aside from running, because of classes, ACT, graduation, vacation......

And by the way, this is the best, I think, he's ever looked. It's not a sloppy 320, the coaches want him waking up about 310 lbs so by the end of the day(game time) he will weigh 315 to 318, as opposed to waking up 320 and game time being closer to 330(sluggish)

Good stuff...the target weight of 310 will be ALL muscle if appearances are true in photos and videos...fat is an endangered species under Butch and Lawson...when he comes home, he's going to replace your famous Taco Bell

"The first commitment in the 2013 class, Sanders has seemed to be a part of the program forever now. With so many veterans up front, none of the freshmen OL are under any kind of pressure in camp, but Sanders has gotten off to a nice start. He's a hard worker with a nasty streak and obviously has SEC size at his position. He'll benefit from a year in the weight room but looks to be a very solid prospect who will be counted on in the two deep next fall."

Love how much experience we have at OL this year. All the freshman can redshirt if they look like they aren't ready. I remember a few years back we were counting on true freshman to play on the OL and that's normally a disaster because of the speed/strength adjustment.

Absolutely, I see no problem with the RS, don't beat me up to bad over this thought...but I want him to get the black stripe off just so he doesnt feel like that kid on the playground that got picked last, and only because you had to have 5 on each team. I know he's not on the playground playing flag football anymore, and he's probably more mature than that, I just could see being the last to get your stripe removed as a mental block. Like I said, don't beat me up too bad!!

We want the stripe off as bad as you do. It shows that he is showing progression, and that his mentor is 100% confident in his ability. Games are won in the trenches in the SEC, and we want our guys as confident and prepared as we can get them.

He is going to the University of Tennessee on scholarship and playing football in Neyland Stadium. He's already out done 99% of the kids on a playground. :dance:
