The G8s are used for police cars and also the new Malibu SS cars. We just traded my wife's G8 GT on a new 2013 Grand Cherokee Trail Hawk. The G8 came way to late. It was a lot of car for the money.

IMO, GM should've never discontinued Pontiac. They had a strong run at the end and a Trans Am now would sell like crazy. I think Buick shouldve been the one to go away. I've had a bunch of TAs but once I drove a fast Mustang, that's all I wanted. We like TAs, Austin and I both, but Mustangs are the favorite at casa del sanders...lol

Yeah I have had 3 Pontiacs and loved everyone of them. I still have my WS6 and it is currently under the knife with a few more extra cubes coming soon. I agree Pontiac shouldn't have been the one to be discontinued. The G8 was an awesome a 4 door hoss with a 6 liter under the hood. It would move! Either though way you know I was kidding about his car and we are damn glad to have Austin sporting the UT uniform.

Without a doubt, we aren't haters. My dream car garage would have several from the Big 3 and several Mustangs would be excluded...haha, especially a 75. . Would love to possess a 80 Turbo TA with the 4.9 And a 78 Bandit, and a 79 Formula with the big Olds 403,

Sad to say, my first car was a '74 Mustang. Biggest POS in the universe (next to an AMC, of course).

Yes sir, I love the Bandit cars but I would love to have a modern drive train and suspension. Well hopefully mine will be sporting a little ole 408 with a few extra goodies and then I may sell it.

I would love to drop a new 5.0 Engine into a 89 GT body with the 6 spd automatic
Austin has a built 4.6 All forged, cobra crank, cobra fuel tank with twin fuel pumps, vortech V1 with 42 lb injectors, makes around 500 hp

Well I don't mind turning wrenches let me know if I can help. Little beer and working on cars/jeeps with friends is fun.

Wow, sounds like a beast

Fast cars are hereditary.

Yes sir! I was scared to give it to him at first. I originally bought him a 90 F150 4x4 and it was ugly, he really didnt want it. then I gave him the option between my wife's 01 GT and a Maxima but asked him to tell me he wouldn't race it, he was honest and said he couldn't tell me that. So he got the Maxima. He was telling everyone at school I was going to give him my 01 GT and we decided that he was responsible enough to drive it. He had done well at school, football, and all around great behavior, and plus I still get to keep it.....somewhat!

Cleveland Daily Banner - Sanders stops by to encourage Bears

Players will earn the orange stripe on their helmets. It is something not to be handed out arbitrarily, but something to worked for and envied. The stripe turns to orange only when the "big brother" assigned to the freshman by the coach feels the newby is ready to be a real Volunteer.

"Freshmen, we wear black instead of orange stripes because you have to earn your stripes in his program. That's what we've got to do. We've got to earn our stripes. You've got to want to play at Tennessee," Sanders said emphatically. "When you are a recruit you can't be like, ‘Oh, I don't know if I want to go to Tennessee.’ You have got to want to play for Tennessee or you are not going to do well."

Was watching some practice vids and saw that Austin had a nice pancake block during 1 on 1's. Nice to see the freshmen big boy showing some promise. Proud papa how is Austin doing and what are his thoughts so far?

Freshman struggles is exactly what it is. This is a grueling time for freshman, especially once the two a days start. But like Eric Berry says, "Iron sharpens iron". Austin is gonna be a key part to getting this program back where it needs to be. Just let that soak in for a minute......he's gonna be a big time football player for us!

That comes from Proverbs 27:17 not Berry. Just a quick admin note. Carry on.
