Sanders No. 247 in new Rivals Rankings.

Sanders started all 11 games for Bradley Central and also won the state’s Class 3A Mr. Football award

Just curious, did Coach Jones contact Mr. Sanders and ease his mind that UT still wanted him? I know him and dad had concerns about it.

We don't know, but I would bet Sanders is still a priority. Athletic OL for the new scheme would be great.

You don't need to worry about Austin. I have know his mom Jennifer and aunt all my life. Last I spoke to Jennifer last week, Austin is 100% committed to Vols and it is his dream to play for the Vols. It would be a shock if he changed his mind!

Coach Jones called him and wants to meet him and said he was glad he was solid.

Glad to hear that! I hope this turns out to be something great for Austin. I consider him one of our hometown kids. :) Have a lot of pride in this young man!!

Austin being 100% was not the issue. The concerns i had was the coach(es) Possibly telling him to explore his options. Just because Dooley ,Pittman, and Chaney like him doesnt mean Jones or his new OLine coach will. So again worrying abut Austin isnt the problem, worrying for him was/is!

Nope, CBJ is probably bringing his strength and conditioning coach that was with him at Cincinnati and CMU

Butch will retain your son. Great Tackles are not born like trees, and Austin is just phenomenal.

I think Austin will have no problem with the S/C Coach. He's VFL and willing to work hard! Any S/C coach can turn motivated kids into stronger, more agile guys. It just takes effort by the players.
