Wasn't there an OL from TN in the 2012 class who's father played at UT , who was a likely commit to us? what ever happened to that guy?

As mentioned in the Voytik thread, the Bradley/Cleveland game on October 21st will be on ESPNU.

You can all watch Austin then, he will be the REALLY big guy in black and gold.

I knew he committed but thought he was a 2013 class kid..... but looked at scout today and had him with this class ? Wondering if you guys could give some more information

He is #52. If you were at the jamboree tonight he did not play due to a slightly strained muscle but should be 100% for next week. The coached held out several of the starters just to make sure they were all good to go for the first game.

This could have been the giant I saw last night, who I assumed was Jelks

He's a pretty good sized kid. Stood next to him during Vol walk.

I believe this is him

WTH do these kids eat? I swear I don't see how these 15-17 yr old kids grow so dang big.

I teach at Bradley Central and I had both of these young men were in my classes. Austin is on the left and Patrick is on the right. I have seen these two young men play a great deal. Could you imagine being a DT standing in the gap between Austin at tackle and Patrick at guard. I have seen numerous bodies literally flying through the air. Both are over 300 pounds and Patrick lost over 30 pounds so he could wrestle last year (which he won the HW state championship). Both push massive amounts of weight around in the weight room and work extrermely hard at being excellent football players.

I am more proud of these young men because of the excellent character that they display in their daily life. High morals and values are demonstrated each day and they come from wonderful families also. They are almost like gentle giants while at school and very polite. On Friday nights it is a different story. They both have a very violent mean streak and try to finish off their blocks with their favorite food : pancakes.

Pancakes = VFL offensive lineman

The behemoth on the left is the one I thought was Jelks at the game. That's a big man

Just think about 2 more years to grow and then he arrives on campus.

Heard through the grapevine that Bama and Michigan are still recuiting him very hard and have offered scholorships. Could be one of the most highly ranked OL to come out of the state in a long time and probably highly ranked in the nation his senior year.

Likes maple syrup with all of those pancakes on Friday nights.

Is he the one on the right?

Austin Sanders (UT commit and a junior in hs) is on the left and his friend Patrick Benson is on the right. Both play on the OL at Bradley Central. Patrick is a senior and being recuited by smaller schools. Both are excellent players and wonderful young men.

Ok thanks. They are both massive. Can't wait for Austin to get on campus
