Terrence Summers, a 6-foot-2, 265-pound prospect from Springfield (TN) High School, was one of the many recruits in Knoxville for UT's July football camp recently. Tennessee easily cracked his list.

"I'm most interested in Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Tennessee, Tennessee State and that's about it," Summers said.

his team plays my old alma mater opening week so I guess I will have to see if he is any good. I haven't really known for Springfield to have much talent.

He seems good in one on one videos, and has good size for the defensive ends we are looking for now. If it wasnt for the "project " players we have already gotten i would say take him.

Yeah kid is really good. Has a high motor but needs work on technique and taking plays off. Just hope he keeps his grades up. Last I heard he had around a 2.0 GPA

Oh we will, i'm his teamate of four years. He has great athleticism for his size, he can dunk on a 10 foot goal. He is strong as advertised as well, i've seen him bench press 410 and squat 515. He is a stud and if the coaches up at Hutch can work with him, we will definitley hear from him in two years.

Still wish we could have kept Staley around somehow. Definitely had the hook up at Hutch with him at UT, cost us a couple DTs this year. Could have really used the pipeline for some OL DL, after this year.
