Hubbs said Gray is down our DB board some, a poster on VQ mentioned that Gray has to get his academics in order or he won't qualify.

Carr is going to be special for us. He's by far my favorite recruit and I'm pumped we landed JRM, bc not only is he a great player as well, but it should help us hold on to Carr with them being friends.

Barton Simmons confirmed that Gray does have test score issues right now, he said that if Gray gets a qualifying test score then his recruitment will blow up. He also said that if it wasn't for those test scores he'd be a Top 100 player.

He added that Ole Miss is the only school that is staying in constant contact w/ him.

Interesting, have not heard of that until now.. hopeful the kid gets his grades straight. I wonder if that is what is keeping him down on UT's board?

See I don't get that. I don't think a player's test scores should have an affect on his rating. They should judge them on what caliber of player they are.

You can take it every couple months if you want. I took it 4 times my last year of HS.

I'm not positive, but I remember the SAT being much more arduous to find a date for in Knox when I was applying to schools. I think there are less testing centers or something because UT primarily accepts the ACT.
