Athletes wins championships not character. You'll get killed taking local guys. Fulmer tried it late in his career here and it got us embarrassed. Guys like Tyler Maples, Todd Campbell, and a few others shouldn't have worn the Orange. Guys that have no value outside of being moral support. If this kid can't play period at LSU, UGA, Florida, SCAR, or Bama then he shouldn't be playing at UT. I'm sorry that's just where I think we should be going recruiting wise IMO.

We all laughed at Dooley for taking offering guys like Cunningham. Sanders, and Eddie Jackson I'm just saying lets not judge this book by its cover.

No disrespect to those guys...but we have to start getting better players than that if we are going to be good. Devrin Young does nothing for us outside of handling a punt... Rogers didnt do anything till this year. And I prefer Jenkins over Smith. You aren't one of those guys that think out of 25 guys we should sign 15 Tennessee boys do you? Just my:twocents:

I agree we do have to have better ranked recruiting classes but we need to do better in evaluations that is where Kiffen Messed up and where Dooley did to I think. It doesn't do anyone any good to have a top five class and have 3/4 of the class off the team by the end of there freshman year. I just hope Butch knows what he is doing.

Let CBJ do work...I think he is already doing well. Just look at the recent offers out. I mean goodness Ryan Jenkins, Dillon Bates, and Vic Wharton didn't even have offers till CBJ got here.

Its Great to have a handful of Boyscouts. It really is, but the entire team doesnt need to be that way. Just like ideally, you dont want nor need an entire team of Roguish Thugs.

there is only so much leading a Boyscout can do from the bench. If he's not on the field, his words and actions fall on deaf ears.

As obvious as this is, the article said that Swafford will also be joining Foreman in Knoxville, but it's unclear whether it will be by grayshirt or not.
