'13 TN ATH Jordan Wilkins

Noticed that the Auburn Rivals site has an update on Wilkins from his father. The title seems to infer that Wilkins has a top 2 and a decision coming soon, but I can't get anything further than the title.

I spoke to the father of Rivals250 Memphis (Tenn.) Cordova RB Jordan Wilkins, Billy, tonight. Jordan is very close to a decision, likely making a final decision in the next two weeks. Auburn, Vanderbilt, Michigan and Tennessee appear to be his top four, with Auburn and Vanderbilt leading.

Wilkins brother, Trey, plays football at Vanderbilt currently and that will be a factor in Jordan's decision.

According to Jordan's father, they very much like both Gene Chizik and James Franklin and it appears those two schools will be who Jordan will decide between.

What if Ramsey and this kid go to Vandy? That would be a big splash and put a TN school on the map. I can't wait to see Vandy win four games this year.

According to a new article on VQ, he's focusing on 3 schools: Tennessee, Auburn, and Vanderbilt. He will visit UT one more time because he wants to learn a little more about the school and check out the depth chart (which is important to him). He's still working on the visiting plans.

Interesting side note in the article, he came to camp last year and didn't like Tennessee. He does mention that he understands things have changed, which is why he has become more interested in UT.

With his brother being a walk on transfer at Vandy, do you think he will pick UT with the in state rivalry being more heated now?

his brother at Vandy is more of a negative than a positive. Hes played on the same team with his brother for years. The only reason Vandy is on the list is because he wants to do that again. Hopefully he realizes he can do better. But i still think Auburns the team to beat

The barn seems to be holding off on accepting Wilkins commitment...

That was my point. I just really hope we can convince otherwise but that one fact alone is what scares me about getting Wilkins.

Just throwing it out there but Wilkins to UT is gaining some steam in the twittersphere. Disclaimer it is "anonymous sources."

I saw someone had retweeted Sab who made a statement about that. If he is the one with the anonymous source, I can't help but think of Brian Kimbrow telling him last summer he was about to announce to UT when everybody else said he was going elsewhere and Sab bit on it, hook, line and sinker.
