'13 TN ATH Jordan Wilkins

Word on the street among HS coaches in Memphis that I have talked to is...

1) Ohio St (if he gets the green light there)
2) Vandy (they took his brother last semester. Brother was a RS freshman at a D2 in Arky and Vandy got him to transfer in hopes of landing his brother)

According to 247 sports michigan visited wilkins at practice last week and made it a point they want one more back for this class, and with denard robinson gone they want a big powerful back like wilkins who can finish runs and carry the load. They also told him they want him to visit as soon as possible probably will be late june early july. Wilkins also plans to visit Ohio State and Cincinati

RT @jordanwilkins2: Been tryin to narrow down and Auburn, Michigan, UT, vandy, Arkansas, and ole miss are up there

"It's going pretty good," Wilkins said. "I didn't think it was going to pick up like it is right now. I'm enjoying it and just trying to take my time. I want to see schools this summer. I'm not going to make any major decisions right now. I hope to make my decision before my senior season, but if I'm not 100% then I won't do it."

"I like that when you play for Tennessee it's huge because of their tradition," Wilkins said. "Every time you play for Tennessee you are playing for over 100,000 fans. They put a lot of players in the NFL and that's where I'm trying to get too. I hope to learn more this summer and get to know the coaches better."

"To me it's playing time and relationships with the coaches," Wilkins said. "I've always been playing for coaches that are there and I can talk to about anything. I want a coach that I trust and that I can talk to about anything. I don't want to be butting heads with them."

I really like this kid.. seen him play.. Against Arlington last year, even though he is quick and flashy he runs forward, I saw him and the kid from Wooddale who signed with Auburn last year I believe Jordan is better and he was a Jr. Come to Tennessee young man!

"Wilkins is someone we've liked since first seeing him in person last summer during a camp at Ole Miss. He's as physically put together as maybe any running back in this class. And at our Alabama VTO camp this spring, he showed that he also has legitimate 4.5 speed and can catch the ball out of the backfield. At 6-feet-1, 203 pounds, he's a big-bodied back with the agility of a smaller guy."

lol about ND being a player for Gunner kiel, he is all vandy. Oh wait...

Sigh. It was LSU and Vandy, he picked LSU.

Then he got cold feet about it and went with the most comfortable in ND. It isnt really that hard to believe after committing to three different schools.
