RB/DB from St. Benedict. Shifty and has a lot of speed. Very good for a Sophomore. He plays on a team that has not been very good over the years, but he is definitely one to keep an eye out for.

His team lost to MUS tonight, but he had a hand in both SBA scores - - 94 yard kickoff return and a HB pass, both for TD's.

Didn't read the article, but I assume you are talking about St Benedict at Auburndale?

I do not believe so. He is only a sophomore. Like I mentioned, his school has been pretty poor of late, so it is not necessarily a regular stop on the recruiting trail around Memphis.

His brother is a Senior on the team and is probably the 2nd best player on the team.

offered on our junior day, hope we get this kid. he was great both his freshman and sophomore year. best talent SBA has had in a long time... maybe ever

I just saw this kid play tonight, he was head and shoulders better than anybody else on the field. He had a 80 yard touchdown run and a 60 yarder called back on a penalty and that was in the first half. He had well over 100 yards in the first half with 3 touchdowns. He was playing the team where I went to high school and I left at the half, no one could tackle him. Definitely someone to watch. Very impressed with this kid....

Physically, Wilkins already is built like a college player from head to toe. His speed is better than average, and his cutting is terrific. Wilkins, who competed at Ole Miss, does a great job changing direction without sacrificing much speed, which illustrates how advanced his footwork is. As a pass catcher, he ran solid, crisp routes, which allowed him to consistently get separation.

In Week 1, he rushed for 159 yards on 10 carries. In Week 2, he added 237 yards on 26 attempts. Additionally, Wilkins has scored seven touchdowns.

Wilkins, who boasts early offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Tennessee, is a versatile player who can be a power back when needed but also has all-purpose traits. A physically mature junior, Wilkins looks great in pads, which is a nice starting point. When carrying the football, he combines excellent vision with good instincts, nice speed and terrific overall athleticism. He also has very good control of his body.

Wilkins' cutting is exceptional, and he has the ability to quickly regain his speed after making a move. He uses his body and strength to his advantage, particularly when trying to elude defensive backs. It isn't uncommon for Wilkins to stiff-arm a defender or simply lower his shoulder and attempt to run them over. The only knock is that perhaps he runs upright a little too much at times.

If this kid played at MUS or CBHS he would get more exposure. His squad has been bad in the past and they do not play any games with exposure outside of the two aforementioned teams.

I'm at the SBA/Briarcrest game, just finished up w/ SBA winning 27-26 in OT. This kid is the real deal. He rushed for about 300 yards

Jordan went for 297 rushing yards tonight to help SBA defeat Briarcrest 27-26 in OT. Win was the first region win for SBA in like 4 years.
