'13 TN Ath Jalen Reeves-Maybin (UT commit 8/10/12)

Tbh he's not in Hurds league. JRM helped his team beat us but Hurd beat us single handedly. We lost almost everyone from our state championship defense of last year but were still good. Hurd made us look like a middle school
Thanks. Hurd has got to be wearing Orange in 2014. He has not been stopped or slowed all season.

Northeast lost to Dickson County tonight 28-6. JRM was hurt in the 3rd quarter, I don't know how bad it is, but he did not return. He threw one int in the first half and was moved to slot wr/rb, but aside from one 25 yd run, he wasn't much of a factor.

He did return. Looked like it was cramps.

Yep, went down for about 10 min... obviously cramped up. DC held him in check for the most part, surprising considering what he did to Henry Co.

OK my bad, I was going off hearsay because I didn't attend the game as I have graduated and moved on to Knoxville. I don't know whether to be excited that Dickson is having such a great season or be disappointed that a UT commit could not take over the game.

Cougars played really well on defense .. I hear what you're saying but he couldn't do it alone. Thought it was smart to move him out wide or in the slot, that was the only time they moved the ball on us..

Talked to his coach and coach said hes pretty. hurt but told me he is very solid to the vols and he didnt let the media know what the injuries were.

Reeves-Maybin said he’s not overly concerned about Tennessee’s 3-4 start this season despite the mounting pressure on coach Derek Dooley and his staff.

“I mean, I always want them to win, but I’m not too worried about it. It doesn’t really matter,” Reeves-Maybin said.

“I’m committed to the school, not the coach, so that’s a big deal to me.”

Also, in the article, JRM says that he keeps in touch with a lot of the commitments. In particular, he talks to Miles, Carr, Sanders, Kendrick, and Smith quite a bit.

When asked about being in contact with other schools still, he mentioned Ole Miss, Louisville, and Alabama. Vanderbilt stopped contacting him. He thinks Bama could offer late, but he doesn't think they've offered because they don't have a plan for him (meaning they don't know where he would play in the current team). He doesn't think the offer would change much unless "something drastic happened."

at least it looks like we can count on the instate kids and maybe Miles so thats a good start. Hopefully a bunch of kids enroll early so they can't waiver on their committment.

Will be playing Station Camp in the first round. I'm going to try and go see it. I will be rooting for Station Camp though...

JRM didn't play this week in Northeast's 39-0 win over Northwest as he rested up for the playoffs and a big match up against Station Camp and 2014 high-profile receiver Josh Malone.

Incorrect. hurd did play like 5 or six snaps. why is a good question. let him sit ,rest the shoulder and be ready for the playoffs. kids gonna be real wherever he goes and whatever he plays
