i think he was one of those kids that think they are too cool to support the in state school. One of those that try to be different than the people that surround them.

Maybe so but the Dooley disease definitely played a factor here. If Butch had the whole year instead of a couple of months to recruit him, we may have gotten him. I remember Jalen talking about keeping all the best instate talent instate early in his recruitment. I also remember some saying he was one of the ones that just want to leave home later on. Butch could have made the difference here if he could have gotten in on him early.

Yeah, he ain't going anywhere...but, if he did, I'd welcome him to UT if CBJ wanted him regardless of any smack talking. He's a NFLer. All that said, he'll be a Seminole this year and next year before leaving for the NFL.

Ramsey openly thumbed his nose at UT during the recruiting process. I don't care where he goes as long as it's not here.

A non-issue anyway. Jones wouldn't take this kind of troublemaker at this point. He's a got a solid group of young playmakers who seem to buy-in to his system.

I wouldn't want that cancer anywhere the Tennessee locker room. He's trashed Tennessee more times than I can remember and he's fed up with himself. CBJ is bringing in talent.

He's Florida State's problem now. Keep his arrogant ass in Tallahassee.

That was my first thought until I read the article. Jimbo didn't exactly break into coach speak mode and makes me wonder if there's something much larger at play here. Be interesting to watch.

Or he wanted to go to a good team that was going to be competitive before he left.

Kid has a National Championship ring, so whether anyone here likes it or not it looks like he made a solid decision.

You don't just kick your leader on defense out of practice unless their is a consistent issue that you feel is hurting the team. I'd say there is some ME ME ME syndrome going on an md he is prob screaming it for everyone to hear

Yeah very true. I just think it'll take a little but more than that. He's a very valuable guy. I think this sent a message but I think he has a couple more strikes before he's let go.

He could have also had more than a couple of strikes already and this could be the "I'm putting my foot down" and this the last time type of thing.

You've gotta really, really mess up to be a star who gets kicked off the FSU team. I'm sure Jalen will have himself some crab legs and be back at practice in no time for the Criminoles.
