Would have been nice if he mentioned he would like an offer from the Vols seeing he was at our game. Maybe he was just taking in the sights.

That quote was from a few months ago, my bad I should have put the date w/ it.

It did seem strange if that was his quote to a UT reporter at a UT game. Maybe the air show that was on display gets him a bit more interested in Tennessee.

Thats the one I saw on TV and he was up cheering and really getting into it.

I just saw his team play Friday. They won 56-2. He seems like a good athlete, but did not realize he may be SEC level.

Tennessee offered two weeks ago and was his first offer according to Paul Strelow.

Booker told ESPN that Tennessee is his leader.

That makes sense considering UT is apparently his only offer (according to his Rivals & Scout profiles).

This seems like the kind of player UT needs. Under the radar, not rated, no other offers, etc.

If he camps again and is evaluated by the coaching staff, I could see this being UT's next committment. GBO.

I don't know it to be a fact, but I think I remember hearing he has some grade concerns ATP. That would explain his lack of offers. He plays at Byrnes, so you know people are aware of him. Will be interesting to see what happens in the future.

For how well we have recruited WR the past few cycles... this class is definitely underwhelming at the position (prospects and commits). Patrick is a stud, but seems like people are counting him out due to grades.

Akia is the nephew of a good friend of mine and he really likes UT. He is working hard to get the grades in line.
