Just watched the ESPN video. Jabo has good vision, does a really good job of finding the hole and hitting it quickly. Also I am going to bet he is bigger than the profiles are saying now.

True and he seems to have very good contact balance. Does not go down easily which if maintained in college will be a welcome change for our RBs.

i may get shot for this but i believe i would take this kid over ford dont get me wrong love to have both but if it came down to pickin 1 jabo would be it thats just my opinion

same here seems to be faster, hope he gains a lil weight and keeps his speed... glad to have him vols>>>:pirate:

How is this guy a steal? We took him from ECU, not exactly a destination where kids grow up wanting to play. We are in filling out the class mode.

i am to i am thrilled to have the guy in orange and white but i cant believe the words "fall back" was mentioned with this kid or was it cause he got hurt from what i can tell thats the only reason he doesn't have major offers

Have heard injuries were a big part of his lack of offers. They say that he would be a 4-star and have lots more offers if not for his injuries.

I just watched his highlights from his junior year. 9 minute video. Jabo Lee still hasn't been tackled 5 minutes in.

Impressive.

Yeah, but Cali is a big State and South Carolina is smaller. My point is if Clemson (which is really like and SEC school) and USCjr didn't offer this kid why are we? As for Bray, what big game did he really win for us?

I thought he had an offer from Va Tech also? The Hokies have had a ton of quality backs go through there, so I don't mind getting a RB that they like.

He shouldn't be compared to Q Watson or DY. Lee is a much better prospect than either of those. I like him better than Barber. He'll be a stud when he packs on some more weight this summer.

I'm telling you guys. This kid has been all over the local news down here for the past couple of years. He runs North and South. Hard to bring down and has good hands. Good get imo.

And what exactly is it? We needed a running back. Got one. Maybe not the one that everyone wanted initially, but this kid wants to be a Vol. I like his film and I'm happy. Would still be nice to get Ford too. But this could be a quality get.

Probably because we are his best current offer. Lot of upside here. Not a ton of risk in taking a commit like this.

Worst case scenario, he doesn't qualify. Or, he qualifies and ends up not contributing much. Maybe he plays some his junior or senior year. Best case scenario, he not only gets in, but he also ends up being pretty dangerous with the ball in his hands for us right away.

Again, we needed a running back. We got one. If nothing else, it fills the spot we lost when Que Watson took off.

I celebrate depth. I just do.

I agree with the Q. Watson angle. I see similarities as far as speed.
