'13 SC DL Jaylen Miller (UT signee)

Lawson and who?

Any two that are higher rated ( be it Lawson / Bellamy / jucos / or a combination of the two). I agree with some others here, that Miller is a take period, unless there are other players more sought after that the staff is 100% sure will sign on NSD.

I was just starting to wonder why this kid hasnt committed yet! He sounds like the most promising out of all the big boys we are recruiting. Maybe sometime later today or tomorrow, lets hope!

HONOR THY VOLS...CHERISH THEM...

Maybe the whole " build a dynasty" thing wasn't just half hearted and they wanna all wait till NSD and make a boom on national TV .?.

Our fab 5:
Lawson
Levenberry
Bell
Bellamy
Carr

All had to be on defense since Bellamy and Lawson were the main 2 :)

"He said he didn't commit this weekend, but that Tennessee is the leader heading down the stretch. He may cancel his other official visits and call it quits and be done with everything, but as of right now he's still thinking about taking other visits.

Full story here in a few."

Boom?

""I hung out with the coaches the entire time. I feel like I've known those coaches my whole life, especially the d-line coach, coach (Steve) Stripling . He's very easy to talk to and I feel like we can relate to each other because he's passionate about pass rushing just as much as I am," Miller said. "Coach (Tommy) Thigpen, we talk like we've known each other for years. Coach (Jay) Graham, I've known him for a few years. Coach (Butch) Jones, he's really laid back and easy to talk to and coach (John) Jancek he's easy to talk to."

With his Tennessee visit wrapped up, the 6-foot-3, 260-pound defensive lineman may be done taking official visits but wants to think it over for several days before doing anything.

"I really don't know. I want to take my official visits, but then again this whole recruiting process is getting hectic. I'm thinking about canceling my other official visits. It's just something I've got to figure out for myself," Miller offered. "I was supposed to go to Wake Forest and Maryland and maybe N.C. State. But, right now I feel like I don't want to, but I don't want to say one thing and do another."

When asked if Miller answered, "Most likely."

Safe to say... he's a Vol.

got a feeling this guy is a VOL.

I'm 99% certain this guy is our next commit. Won't be surprised based on what I've read on VQ if he commits in the next 24-72 hours.

Solid pickup in a position of extreme need.

Even if he does take his visits, those other schools can't compete with us.

Also, I've heard he's already told the coaches (and some media members) that he's committed. Just wants to get home and decide when to announce it.

This question may have already been addressed, but were his offers all commitable? He has a great offer list if they were legit.

Hopefully him, Lawson, and Bellamy all got to talking about how dominant they would be together and decided they would all suit up in UT Orange and White next year.

Man I hope so. This guy, Lawson,Bellamy,Carr, and Danny O is a really good young set of DL that can set the tone up front. You would see a big difference in our secondary day 1 IMO.

You've been tossing these hints all week. Are you more connected than you let on, or are you just going with your gut and some tid bits of rumors? I don't get a lot of time to keep up with the boards and don't know who all are the insiders.
