He's gotten some attention at early camps where he was named top passer. These camps were day camps in Nashville and Knoxville. No real news other than he mentioned attempting to attend the camp at UT. He was regarded as an average athlete at the camps, and I would estimate that as an athlete he would probably be an FCS or Division II prospect, but because he is regarded as a pure passer, with a couple of strong seasons, he could work his way into D-1 looks. He has the right size to play D-1 QB. He needs to show the skills. The fact that he has bounced between positions up until now has hurt his evaluations, so it's a wait and see situation for him.

I think this guy has a ton of potential.

I agree plus we seem to be in a pretty good position with our current QB's. If he is evaluated by the staff and they see potential that allows us to take a chance and redshirt him if we miss out on the top notch guys we are recruiting IMO.

Has camped at Miss. St, Vandy, and Kentucky. Coach Sanders from Kentucky was on the Mountain to watch him throw last week.

I have seen him play several times and he has an excellent arm with great touch. Played TE and FS for two years before starting at QB last year. The level of competition isnt a problem as Signal stacked there schedule last year. The concern is that his two receivers last year 6'4 and 6'3 both graduate along with a majority of his line and backfield. BTW his team will scrimmage Vonn Bell's Ridgeland team in August.
