If he works his butt off he could see the field one day. RB and WR is a position you can grow into as a walkon with hard work and dedication aka Carter.

always good to have good walk ons. They help the other side (in this case defense) prepare, and can really only help. If they are productive and warrant a chance, they can ball out and get a scholly. If not, they still get to play some football and go to a good school for a good education.

This is probably a stupid question but if a kid walks on out of High school and earns a scholly by his soph or jr year does the school cover his education the previous years when he wasn't on scholly? Or does the school cover only when he gets the scholly and from then on, leaving the student athlete to pay for the previous years that he was just a walk on.

I've personally seen this kid run and he looks good. Good vision and runs hard between the tackles. That said, his O line is HUGE. maybe he'll work his way up the chart and get some reps in.

I hope to see some footage of his teammate here in a few years. Trajan Herr. Plays TE and WR. Decent speed, good size, great kid. Should see considerable time this fall.
