Very good pickup for Cincy. They actually have some other decent young QB's. Patrick Coyne will be a redshirt freshman (Tennessee and Dooley offered him too). And they also have Bennie Coney coming in and he was fairly highly recruited as well.

Kyle Kempt committed to Cincinnati last summer, prior to having a great senior season at Massillon. The three-star recruit threw for over 3,000 yards in 2012, with 32 touchdown passes versus only 10 interceptions.

Kempt, 6-foot-5, 200-pounds, is now taking a second look at his recruitment, with the departure of former Bearcat head coach Butch Jones to Tennessee. He has spoken with new Bearcat boss Tommy Tuberville.

"I am setting up my official visit to Cincinnati right now," Kempt stated. "I plan to take an official visit to Tennessee if I receive a formal offer from them, and I have spoken with Coach Jones. Other visits may happen if I receive any offers from schools that are currently discussing my recruitment."

Kempt had nearly double-digit offers prior to his commitment to Cincinnati, and followed up that decision by having an impressive senior season. With Jones leaving, the door is now open for other schools to make their pitch for Kemp..TOS

The AW crowd would go into cardiac arrest. This should be interesting. :)

Kempt did post some solid numbers this year. Over 3000 yards passing and 32 TDS. His team went 11-2. He passed for over 6000 yards in HS. Pretty good resume.

I like AW, and would be happy if he got an offer. But I'm starting to think it's not going to happen. So, I'm looking at whoever.

OCI suggested Jason Smith.

I saw where OCI mentioned him. Would be an interesting pull this late seeing he did not have an offer from either UT or UC. Anything is possible I guess.
