'13 OH CB Jaleel Hytchye

The Rivals Panther site says he’s gonna announce this Saturday. Pitt *cough* *cough*, UT or UK.

The end is in sight for Jaleel Hytchye, as the cornerback announced on Twitter Saturday night that he will announce his college decision on January 17th.

He said in his latest interview he was moving his decision date to January 5th. He said there was a reason he moved his decision that had to do with the school he was picking. Pittsburgh plays their bowl game on January 5th.

Looking like Pittsburgh.

"The recruiting process is about to come to an end for Jaleel Hytchye, as the Cincinnati (Oh.) La Salle cornerback will announce his college decision on Saturday night.

"It's been a long process," Hytchye told Panther-Lair.com Wednesday. "January 17th was when I was going to announce; that was the date that I got my first offer, so that date was special to me. But I wanted to speed it up a little bit for a couple of reasons.

"At Kentucky, it's [head coach Mark Stoops] and the staff he's bringing in and the changes he's bringing. I'm really excited about that and I respect his background as a coach. Plus, it's not too far from home and they play in the SEC. That's something big, that I could be part of building a tradition there.

"At Tennessee, they already have a tradition, and I believe they have the players to make something special happen. They're potentially a national champion under the right coaching staff, and I met [head coach Butch Jones] and his staff when they were at Cincinnati. I wasn't too into Cincinnati, but now that he's at Tennessee, I'm really interested and I know they have great facilities.

"And at Pitt I really like [head coach Paul Chryst]. He's honest, down to earth, and a real people person, a real family-type person. He's really great guy and they have great coaching staff. I think there are some special things they're doing."

"I haven't visited Tennessee, but I did some research on them and I think I know all I need to know. I can visit after I commit if that's the school I pick.""

I wonder what this means?

"There's one reason I don't want to go into details about until after I announce because it has to do with the school I'm picking, but also I turn 18 on Friday and I think it would be a big step to make a real big decision like that the day after I turn 18."

More 3 star players....:groupwave:

Louisville's roster is chocked full of "3 star" players and with good scheme and coaching seemed to do quite well this year. Coaching and player development plays a huge role in a program's overall success. Unfortunately, Tennessee has lacked both of those over the last 10 years or so.

Louisville couldn't compete in the SEC week in and week out...don't let last nights Gator team fool you. You have to have great talent to win in this league.

Do you only look at stars? The guy is a .1 away from being a 4-star on Rivals would he then be good enough if he gets that .1?

Also look at offer lists!

Has right at 20 offers including Penn St., Louisville, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Indiana, Boston College among others..
