VQ said they don't expect any official visitors this weekend. Hubbs said it yesterday afternoon and again in the War Room late last night. I wonder who is right Hubbs or Farrell???

Yea all I have seen points to him being at the Syracuse USC game this weekend. Possibly another for the Fla game the following week instead?

"Then I'll be at Tennessee on December 15," Smith said.

"I didn't expect all of that to happen," he said. "It don't affect me too much but I was thinking about it. I just don't know too much yet. I didn't know too much about the school in the first place 'til this year. Then I heard the coach got fired so they're going to have a new staff."

He says his visit to UT on the 15th will weigh heavily into where UT stands with him.

From a local article a few weeks ago

The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl jersey presentation is the highlight of an otherwise frustrating year for Smith, who suffered a high ankle sprain early and has battled back most of the season. He’s rushed for 421 yards and four touchdowns.

But when healthy, as is the case right now, Smith brings an intangible few teams have.

“Laray brings an aspect to us that’s very important and it’s something that not every high school team has and that’s he can score from anywhere at any time,” DeSiena said. “He’s a home run hitter.”

It’s a reason why Smith is one of the most highly touted unsigned seniors in New York City. He’s got official visits lined up at Syracuse (Dec. 8) and Tennessee (Dec. 15) and has track scholarship offers from Ole Miss and Illinois.

Smith is still very much undecided in terms of his future, but he said he’d like to play football and run track.

Saw on Rivals that the visit set up for 12/15 ended up being changed. Anyone have any news on if he is still an option?

Bump. Choice in highly rated, talented RB's is quickly vanishing.

Was thought he'd sign w/ Syracuse but when Marrone and Anselmo recently left Smith re-opened his recruitment. Still considering the 'Cuse but now WVU is in the mix, among others. In Storr's this wknd for an OV.

HS AA in both football and track.
#2 'Back in NY
#12 APB nationally
Played in the US Army AA gm

4.4 40
10.82 100

We need two RB's this class. A power 'back and an APB. Hope the staff have/will reach out here. Certainly would not hurt.
