I like Tennessee the most," said Corey Cooper. "They keep sending me stuff, telling me I need to check out their facilities and visit for a game soon"

He had 50+ catches for 700 yards and nine TDs last year according to the Scout article.

"I also like Alabama, North Carolina State, Georgia Tech, Duke, Clemson and South Carolina. I'm not sure if I'll commit early; we'll have to see. I've been to North Carolina State a couple of times and their facilities are nice. State is in my backyard - only 10 to 15 minutes away from my house. Duke and North Carolina are both less than an hour drive."

He quickly points out that he is just a junior however and has "a lot of time to think about it." He said that the two schools that are actually recruiting him the hardest in the early stages of his recruitment are Maryland and Tennessee.

"I know I am going to visit Maryland and Tennessee, I know I am going to visit them for a fact, and probably Alabama too because they are recruiting me, too," Cooper said. "I talk to the [Maryland] coaches, and they would love to have me and they were throwing it a lot. My cousin went there, Bruce Campbell, and he told me about them. He told me all about them."

“Some of the schools that are sticking out are Tennessee, Maryland, Alabama, Duke, Notre Dame, and N.C. State,” Cooper said.

Cooper knows what he is looking for when time comes to make a decision.

“The environment, academics, and the fans are going to be big,” he said. “I also want to play for a team that can compete for national championship.”

I like his understanding of positioning his body to shield defenders and the little burst he seems to have to go get a ball that is a little overthrown.

Guy has nice hands but lacks the top end speed. Probable 3* and seems like if we did take him and something better were to come along in the recruiting season we would tell him to look elsewhere

Solid WR. And he likes UT alot too.

But sadly, I would say he is a backup plan at best for UT as of now.

UT is stacked with you talent at the WR position and is in on bigger prospects in the 2013 class.

Per 247 article, Cooper & his dad plan on visiting Tennessee at the end of March. He doesn't know much about Tennessee besides the fact that people refer to us as WRU. He wants to make a decision before his Sr season & says he doesn't have any schools sticking out right now.

Well, That's a nice start knowing that people call us WRU

Supposedly he has tried/would commit to South Carolina if the coaches will take it. Waiting to see him in camp in June.
