"We're seven weeks into the season and we're 3-3," he said. "I haven't played because I had a procedure to get my groin muscle back to my bone. It's pretty minor and I'll be back in three weeks."
"I went to Tennessee for the Florida game," he said. "It was good. I liked the atmosphere a lot. I had gone down for camp in June and the spring game and this visit was an unofficial. The difference was the game, just being around the atmosphere. I spent some time with the coaches too."
"There are three schools that I'm really in contact with now since other guys have committed. Those are USF, Tennessee and Air Force," he said. "I'm interested in Air Force because it's the opportunity to be a pilot, I guess.

"Tennessee is the fact football is big and the tradition there. I know the coaches and have a good relationship with them. At USF, I have a really good relationship with the coaches and like Coach Holtz."

Not sure on this kid. No big offers (and this isn't May, so he's had plenty of time to earn others), hasn't played all season due to an injury, and he's not very big. Actually, he seems very much like Justin Meredith to me. I'd go all out for Weaver and/or Jackson at the TE position.

I think we take 2 TEs in this class. Chauntez Jackson is not ranked very high and his offer list in marginal, but he seems to have a nice TE build. I wouldn't mind it at all if Dooley signed both Wilson and Jackson. Not too sure if we will have room for both, however.

I think we should only take two if one of them is Sandland.

EDIT: and I just read the news about him in his thread. That sucks.

Air Force picked up a TE commit from Texas tonight, that might help Tennessee out w/ Wilson.

Why? I was under the impression that if he chose Air Force it was because of his ambition to become a pilot?

Because AF might have the feeling/news that LW is heavily leaning towards Tenn and decided to accept the commitment of another tight end, or are still looking to add LC and have two tight ends in their class. Either way, I think the future is looking very orange for LC.
