I can't look at a kid's film and tell if he's going to be good or not, and I've never pretended to possess that ability. You're the scout/trainer/evaluator extraordinaire. All I know is that CJG really likes Grayson.

DO you know more than Graham? Maybe you two should argue Grayson's merits and maybe you can sway him to your side?

Looks like he's got good vision, and he runs downhill. But he also runs really upright, and he doesn't look that fast. He'll take some huge hits like that in the SEC.

Yea he doesn't look that fast. Does a lot of side to side running for someone who isn't gonna be able to do that at the next level. Nothing really stands out in my opinion. Looks kinda like Poole to me... JMO.

Since you like running your mouth so much, DO you thirnk he's a take for Clemson right now? Why hasn't Bama, LSU, or any other powerhouse offered him? If they haven't offered this average back why do you want us to take a No.2-No.3 back? Why wouldn't we recruit a bunch of No.1 backs and let them fight it out? If we can't get what we want then do we just bring in a back that won't impact a game. Do you see this kid punishing a Bama, LSU, Florida, or Georgia defense? If not don't bring him in. I don't know about you but I want to win championships not just 7-8 games......

Decisive, one cut guy that gets downhill fast. That's why he's rated so high. Those are skills that do not jump out on film but are invaluable.

See my post in this thread from a couple months ago.

Running my mouth? Im not the one on here stating what is best for the football team by indicating which HIGH SCHOOL players we shoudl recruit based on some youtube clips pal. You need to get off your high horse a bit and stop acting like you know more than our highly paid staff. I'm on here to get info on the players we are recruiting and yes taking stabs at trolls and people who think the know everything. My original point is simple, if Graham likes him he knows WAY more about running the rock in the SEC than me and YOU. So if he wants to offer Grayson a scholarship and accept his commitment, rock and roll. If not I trust he will find his backs. Sorry if I offended the titan of football.

What makes Barnes, Smith, or Zanca so special? Other coaches want Grayson. Nobody, and I mean nobody else wants the aforementioned. I think people are just caught up on thinking we are actually going to pull two of Kamara, Dye, Folson, Turman, and Henry when it's unlikely that we will get more than one.

The coach's livelyhood is based on their ability to evaluate the talent they're recruiting. SO if they feel like extending an offer to a player that we as fans don't like then we'll just have to have trust the coach knows more about the game/position than we do. If he fails then he won't be around long. Bottom line is if the coach wants a certain player then I am cool with it because there was something that CJG saw in the recruit that the talking heads missed. CJG after all did play the position at UT and he should know what he is looking for.

Kinda funny everyone is responding to a post where I asked OCI a couple of questions. Not with exclamation marks or anything just asked him to give me a reason(Tha Don did this I respected his answer). BigNewt/FigNewt trolled and I responded to him personally. Then Stovol the nerd/L7 chimes in on a convo(like a little girl) that had nothing to do with him as usual. I don't know why you all are trying to pull the coach knows more than you stuff. I wanted Cam Newton but Kiffin didn't. Am I running around saying I'm a better judge of talent? People are so full of it. *chuckles*

What's telling to me is that some of the running backs, that we all consider top-tier, mention in their articles that a member of the staff told them "We really want you." or in Dye's case "You're our number one RB on the board" or something to that effect.

I haven't seen or heard anything like that with this kid. Reading between the lines, I really don't see him being a top option, despite his heavy interest in UT. JMO
