That is good...its especially good coming from Hooker...if Ferguson had given him any reason to doubt his commitment that would have been the focus of the article

I think that Ferguson will fit in great with Butch Jones' offense just fine.

I know if I were a slot WR or a TE, I would like the idea of RF playing QB. He seems to like the roll out and 7-10 yard tosses on the crossing routes alot. I think that translates well to the SEC. LB's have a hard time covering these routes. Natural pick plays and guys running open would be a welcome sight for sure.

I think he will have to be honed in as a pocket passer some. He will need to learn how to get into a rhythm in the pocket. That was evident when I saw him play this year, he's just athletic enough to get away with it every Friday night for now. He can make throws running either direction, which is a brilliant skill to have, he just has to polish some of the approach. Every HS senior does.

I would fully expect him to come in knowing he will redshirt. I don't see any way he plays as a FR unless both Worley and Peterman go down.

Agreed. Almost all HS seniors could use a redshirt. It will be nice to let him grow in the offense and not rush him in.

Believe me, I understand how things can get turned around, upside down and sideways when there are rumors floating around all over the place. I would love to see RF and your son both in Orange, pulling for each other, helping each other become the best and winning games. :hi:

Red and Grey two totally different things I would prefer A redshirt vs Starting as a freshman. Gives time to learn the system and possibly allows for work toward masters in last year.
