Maybe the kid hasnt camped that much or his tape got out late. Grades could be marginal as well. Maybe the recruiting services cant find Roanoke Rapids

Sorry I cannot remember the details I read in an article on him - but think that it said he had some sort of illness that caused to miss a lot of school/playing time seems like.

I find it much harder to believe that 3* unranked kids have 25 BCS offers. Coaches>>>>>>>>>Rivals.

Per Josh Low at 247, Jones had or has had some sort of nerve damage in his back and that a lot of people are waiting to see him back at 100% before offering.

Jones said in an interview with 247 that if/when UNC offers that it will be the school to beat.

Another recruit of Deke Adams that left UNC for SCar, interesting thing also is that Thigpen was recruiting him for AUB.. Seems like his position coach and recruiter leaving could soften things up a little.
