Best Buy might still have the free points. They have the last 2 weeks. Unadvertised special that will ring up this way at the register. To check, have cashier ring up everything and hit the final total like you're going to pay.

Whatever you do, don't do it online through the XBOX. That's the most expensive way to buy time on LIVE.

Ok I didnt want to start a new thread on this so I added it on to this one. These are dumb questions. How do I get points to buy stuff with in marketplace? How do I delete downloads from my HD on the 360 as well as other profiles? Can I combine my profiles that I used offline to have the saved games and points for my online profile? Feel free to flame my retarded questions, but info is appreciated.

points=if you have a credit card on file just go to add points. YOu can actually even click on what you want to buy and if you don't have enough, it will take you to the screen where you can add them. If you don't have a credit card on file you can by the points cards at places like Best Buy.

As for deleting stuff, there is an option in the xbox menu. I'll have to look but it seems like it's under "storage" or something like that.

There is no way to combine profiles that I am aware of. You can turn an offline profile into an online profile and keep your points and achivements though but I am guessing it's too late for that with you.

bummer. Oh well I can always start over on GOW and NCAA since that is about all I play. Will check into BB for some points. I want a new pic for my sig.

Nope.

Only problem there might be when it auto-renews your LIVE subscription, since you can buy it cheaper in stores. Solution, don't let it run out...buy more time in the store and enter the code before they auto-charge you.
