You guys see us taking three running backs this go around? That'll be tough. I'd say it might depend on how much our running game improves this season. If improved, I think we only take two. But two good 'uns!

Yes I think we'll take three good backs if we can. I also think we should take 4 more WRs.

Wouldn't mind taking Kamara, Dye, and Corn Elder if we could get all three. This guy would be in the plan Bs for me.

I like this guy more than Elder for some reason. The offer lists don't back up my opinion, though.

I'd obviously take Dye over him.

Dontea Ayres, RB, Wicomico (2013): It's same old, same old with me - I'm sitting on a Duke offer … I'm getting a lot more attention, though; coaches are hitting me up on Facebook and telling me to contact them. Some of those coaches are Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio, Duke, Maryland, Stanford, Wake Forest, LSU, Tennessee, Virginia and a few more … Duke is starting to stand out. Their education is second to none, they have a great coaching staff and they play good football, too. It's hard to beat what Duke has to offer … Then Penn State is standing out, too. They have a great business school, the campus is beautiful and it's a great football program. Pennsylvania is a football state, and Penn State is their main football school - that kind of environment really appeals to me..….I'm going down to visit Duke in a couple weeks, and I visit Maryland next week. I'm heading up to Penn State in the spring, too.

Graham would be crazy not to go full court press on this kid- push SEC hard. Make it happen Coach!

So you think he's better than Dye, Kamara, or Elder? We've got to take quite a few LBs and O-linemen in this class. I wouldn't mind adding all three(hopefully at least two of them) of the three I mentioned. If not I want two of them and then spend the rest of the spots on D-linemen, LBs, O-linemen, and some safety help(we still need depth there).

I know we're in on some other good backs but man I'd love to have a guy with this kind of freak strength. It's been a while.

Wow, this is the type of RB we need 4.48 40 is pretty good for his build. He could be a Trent Richarson type of back IMO.
My thoughts exactly. This kid will leave road kill in his path!! Need to act before his neck eats his head.:birgits_giggle:

Appears to have the tools to be a solid back at the next level. There are always players that you might want more.. but if this guy ends up on Rocky Top on signing day it would be fine by me. He has the desire to move the ball down the field after contact. Will take that every day.

First post back in a while....

This kid goes to the HS I coach wrestling at. He IS indeed a monster, and none of the numbers are inflated.

Trust me, I've been gently nudging him towards Knoxville....

BTW: Offer list currently stands at Duke, Northwestern, NC State, and GA Tech. Kid is also Sick in the classroom, and NW looks to be the frontrunner. Pick it up, Fellas....dont let this one get away!

He's a monster in the weight room too. He's not rated as one of the elite backs in this class, but we've had sleepers turn into superstars before as well. I just hope one of our running backs ends up being a stud. Thanks for the recruiting help.

This kid would be a take IMO all day long. Don't sit back and wait/hope for a back because he is "rated" higher by a scouting service. This kid has the size, power, and speed to play early. Impressive film for sure.
