CONCLUSION: There is no doubt that he is a major prospect that happens to play at a high-profile high school. Look for schools to start verbally offering him next fall as a sophomore.

Camp at Oklahoma

He made the showcase versus all ages using a superior outside rush that was nearly unstoppable. His use of hands and staying low at the point of contact allowed him to earn DL MVP.

NUC camp in Miami
2013 prospect working out that looked very much at home against the older prospects. Leon McQuay IIIout of Armwood High School looks like he could be a superstar in a few years.

-Profiles show he is about 6"1' tall and 175 lbs. Not too bad, but he has plenty of time to get bigger and stronger.

-It is obviously very early for 2013 recruiting and his list probably is outdated, but nonetheless his list of college choices on Rivals was very strange. Has Vanderbilt in his Top 7. Along with Texas A&M and South Florida. It is probably outdated though. I would hope UT could at least get in on a kid's list if he has Vanderbilt listed.

-Video's quality is poor, but you can still tell that McQuay is a great athlete.

Alot of students will take their ACTs early to see what it is like, so they will be better prepared for it the next time around.

There might not have been a better physical specimen at the event than Leon McQuay. The 2013 Safety looks the part at a chiseled 6'2. Teams shy away from going at him as he takes away half the field. McQuay should hold offers from just about everyone down the road
