'13 KY QB Travis Wright

You seriously asked that question? I said if you give him an O line (protection), and ANYONE (TE, WR's) that can catch the football that UT would be just fine. I can or maybe should be more specific when I type I suppose.

Apparently you favor someone else which is cool. I am merely supplying the info that I promised on another thread

I think with 8 posts, you may not yet know this: This board is HEAVY on sarcasm. You must develop a sense quick around here. We tend to joke around here.

Perfect example: I liked his film, he's a good looking QB. He has good pocket presents, and is fast twitch.

If taking Wright means Quick and Hatcher come along then I'm all for it. Wright was a good QB when I saw him last year three times. I wouldnt' say an elite QB but a good solid one. He did have elite talent surrounding him. A great offensive line, an outstanding running back and in Quick one of the most dominate high school WR's I've seen.

So, this guy is Nash Nance.

What is left out in all of this is coaching and the system in which they play in. I simply posted videos. The smart posters on this site dissect or criticize. It really doesn't bother me at all.

Believe me I hear it every single day. Quick is fast but too small...Hatcher is a beast but lazy at times...Dawkins runs hard but is too small...White is a lock down corner but can't tackle...Wright is a game manager but too small...

However the BCS schools are trying to coral all of them for one reason. They know how to play the game. Otherwise they would be visiting D2 schools. Secondly the kids have stated that they would like to play together after HS.

I doubt any school will land all 5 due to the simple fact that teenagers change their minds every 5 minutes and there are family ties to certain schools. I would bet you will see at least 2 to 3 of them on the same campus though.

What UT has going for it now is the fact that Petrino is now gone at Arkansas. That opened it all back up. UK will not get them. UofL is kind of out of it. Bama has been lurking for quite some time and now Vandy, yes Vandy, is in the mix. Nebraska has transformed their offense into what Louisville Trinity runs to a certain degree so who knows. We shall see.

I read in the paper here locally, that UT came to Louisville to watch them practice along with Michigan after visits to the Orange White game. They wanted to see more of these kids. I truly hope UT gets them.

Now with all that being said. I realize I am new to this site. I only checked it out to see if anybody had any info on how the visits went. I was surprised by the "misinformation" so I posted to clear it up. I also realize I could be typing to a 13 year old kid or a 70 year old man. I simply try to be factual.

Now I know the ins and outs of this board and will heed the advice given to me by the other posters. I will try to laugh more.

Good luck UT!

Dittomam, you're the man!

Always nice to have posters close to the fire. I'm on mobile; so I can't see your profile. Are you a Vols fan?

I don't even know what a profile is lol. I am new here and I live in Louisville KY. I am a huge UK fan in hoops but the Vols are my team in football. Strange but true

Louisville Trinity "super five" but believe me they have more coming and keep producing.

Currently Juniors and in the class of 2013

James Quick WR- dad played at UofL. He is a track star, basketball star, and football star. The kid has blazing speed.

James Quick (junior highlights) - YouTube

Dalyn Dawkins RB - Dad played for UofL, Uncle played for Clemson and both played in the NFL. This kid runs with knees up, small in stature but impossible to stop.

2013 RB Dalyn Dawkins Trinity High School - YouTube

Ryan White CB, PR -Local kid who was a beast in the youth leagues. Most criticize him on tackling but he is the most feared man in the secondary. He hawks the ball and will flat out lay a lick on you. He may not wrap up well but I suppose when you lay the lumber you don't have too.

Ryan White (junior highlights) - YouTube

Jason Hatcher DE - Another local kid who came through the youth leagues. Much better his Junior year than sophomore year. He had to learn to not take plays off. Yes he was lazy but has won awards at many camps.

Jason Hatcher (junior highlights) - YouTube

Already posted on the QB so take it all for what its worth. They were awarded the MNC in HS football and the team is stacked with talent. They all moved up to varsity during the freshman year and all have played since their sophomore year.

I will say that what most people do not realize is who is teaching the QB at Louisville Trinity. Oscar Brohm who played at UofL and is on staff at Trinity also had two sons Brian and Jeff who both played in the NFL. The current QB at Trinity was also coached by Wally English who coached Dan Marino at PITT and then the Miami Dolphins. Of course the kid has to stand on his own two feet but he has been coached by the best and still is.

You mix these 5 kids in with any top 25? recruiting class and you will see the Vols back on top. Hands down...

There is your info...now I am exhausted!

LOL...I told you I would give you guys the facts...but nobody wants to listen. Someone needs to be knocking on the UT recruiting office doors. These kids do not want to go too far away from home and Knoxville is well within driving distance from Louisville to come back home.

There is not one school in the state of KY that could EVER compete with the tradition of UT. This is a total no brainer in my eyes. They should be on all of them! I am telling you if one commits, then the rest may fall in line. Nobody realizes that these kids have been playing together or against each other since they were 6 years old. Its an amazing class and this current class has been dubbed the best HS team ever in the state of KY and whoever thought a team from KY would be named MNC (which i think is stupid anyway) Don Bosco and Louisville Trinity wanted to settle it on the field but they wanted the game to be played in NY....Trinity said NO.

Someone said they recruit at Louisville Trinity. Yes they do. But they do have feeder schools in the catholic program and the kids usually choose between ST. X or Trinity. Some opt to go to public schools due to finances. However there is no such thing as a scholarship. They ask for your tax forms yearly and that dictates your tuition rate. Back to the point....of course the schools go out and watch the 8th graders. That's very common and yes they do try to woo them. Alumni here at these private schools runs no deeper than what you all have at UT. Kids tend to follow their, grandfathers, fathers, brothers, nephews, etc. Recruiting is pretty much decided by the family roots.

Glad you enjoyed my post and thanks for your reply.

I am exhausted again lol

We understand that Hatcher loved his visit to Tennessee back in the winter but it has been quiet since then. If they are a high priority for the staff, I am sure they are in contact.

Stealth Dooley is probably on it.

I certainly hope so! They wouldn't have visited our school after the orange white game if he wasn't. Not sure which coach came but they were there.

I think Dooley is going to be a great coach personally but UT sells itself. I would look to next year for the offers to roll in. I am quite sure that the "staff" at UT has a grip on what's going on with these kids.

The thing that doomed UK and Louisville was the amount of spots that they already filled. So these guys are sitting back and waiting. This most likely will be a domino effect in my opinion.

If all these kids end up at Ohio State I am going to be pissed. I hate the Big10/11/12 or whatever you want to call their conference now.

Showing up and committing are two very different things. I promise their cookout visitor list will not be as impressive as the long list of visitors UT has been and will be parading in throughout the summer and fall.

Why do all the Vandy fans on here pretend to be UT fans at first? Even our boy Nashvegas did it.

I know all about Louisville Trinity....you all think you know the deal but for 6 kids to be heading to Vandy in unison from one single school is a shocker!

They have a very good academic school for sure as well as positions to fill on the field. Good luck with Hatcher at UT. That will never happen.

The quote about being a "pretend UT fan" is comical. Feel free to fire away with any questions. I don't post BS like most do on here. I simply state the facts.

and would be an absolute barney fife by james franklin. this would create problems just like it did at arkansas.

on the other hand, the Trinty parents caravan to Nashville could double Vandy's usual gameday attendance

This is not about Football as much as it is academics?

Why do you think kids from Trinity, Armwood, DBP, Cincy X, Cincy Elder, Louisville X, Louisville Central and Louisville Ballard etc, are all going? For a simple free meal on fathers day?

This is not all about Trinity my friend this is about Vandy going hard and selling their academic program.

Personally I wouldnt care if one person showed up in the stands to be honest with you. But if I had a kid that had a shot to get into Vandy for the academics that is exactly where he would land unless he was good enough to go to the IVY league or Duke.

You guys that are posting on this thread are all about football period. That's fine. The private schools gear their kids towards a higher education and a life after football.

UT wont get any of them. Write it down or I will come back to eat crow.
