That UK game had real and lasting consequences....
Or what one game says about the direction of a program. Two losing seasons in a row...etc. People are acting like Kiff is the only coach who is pointing these things out to kids.Yeah. Looks like a kid is going to USC, and based his decision on one game?
The vast majority of recruits don't care. I don't remember other kids not committing to other sec schools over a ky loss.
Sounds like a Kiffin recruit. He has high expectations, I assume. Hope he doesn't quit on his teammates if they lose a game they shouldn't. Sounds like the type of attitude that got us here.
Kentucky hs football is much like Tennessee's.....exceptionally bad. It wouldn't shock me if your pastor is correct. My pastor is a former player for Bama and a former GA for Bama. He went to several Trinity games last year to watch another player who attends our church and said that Hatcher is lazy. He only goes after the ball when it is on his side. He said he will either crack in college or be a slow developer. Im not too disappointed we lost this one.
He tells each player what he wants to hear to get them to sign. Some people buy it, some don't. Hopefully, you have a player with a support system that can see through the bs. Problem is that a lot of times, there is no support system, and usually just an 18 yr old that thinks its cool to be in LA and have rap music blaring over the speakers at practice.
That's it.

I dont know if I would go that far. Trinity was ranked #1 Nationally this year. BTW national ranking in high school makes no sense to me. They destroyed ever top TN team (e.g., Brentwood and another Nashville school). They beat St Xavier also a Louisville school ranked Nationally. They also beat some powerhouse out of Vi this past year also. Trinity is the real deal. Their stadium looks like a college stadium with turf and all. When Trinity and St X play every year they play in Cardinal Stadium in front of 26k fans. They generally sell every ticket they offer. The game is crazy for a high school kid.
Maybe it's playing with other elite players like themselves. He tells each player what he wants to hear to get them to sign. Some people buy it, some don't. Well one has to wonder about this kids recruitment. Mom wont get to see many of his games for the next 4-5 yrs.
