'13 KY DE Jason Hatcher (USCw Commit)

Jalen will probably end up playing, but I don't see Hatcher making a big impact for USC. He is a obvious tweener type. Too small to play DE and too big/slow to play LB, but a perfect 3-4 LB

Beyond the fact that USC doesnt match UTs vet program or proximity I think it makes a lot of sense for Hatcher to commit to USC for now. He has to get his spot while the spots there for the getting in case UT tanks this season or fires Dooley. If UT succeeds or USC implodes he switches his commitment to UT in December or early January.

USC fans don't even want Hatcher. They think he is too small and not highly rated enough.
Nearly all USC fans on the 24/7 board want Hatcher.

He's fast (sub 4.7 electronic) and he is agile as hell (based on his shuttle times). Plus, he will be able to bulk up to the point that he'll be about 6'1"-6'2", 240-250 lbs.

Sounds like a great weakside defensive end to me.

Unfortunately this is too logical to not be true. What Hatcher would have to watch out for is if UT succeeds this year and fills up, then even if he wanted to switch he may be stuck with shirtless Big Ed.
