Interesting that Louisville isn't in there.

I really like like our chances with Hatcher right now.

I need to touch bases with some contacts at the vet school and make sure that they tell the administration to woo this guy, when he comes back for a visit to talk to them! Lock him up, vet program!!! HA!

Yes, but maybe that is his aspirations in life...to become a veterinarian. How great would it be for him to play football at a school that also has your graduate program, where you can continue your education if you get accepted and don't go to the NFL? Smart man to think ahead about his future.

I'm sure we still offer undergrad courses (probably even a major) in vetenarian science. The fact that our program is a graduate program will not hurt us at all. If you want to become a vet, you will ultimately have to go to one of these schools anyhow. (No vet is given his or her position based upon their undergraduate degree.) Might as well be the one that you played football for and are already familiar with.

Pretty sure there is a pre-vet program.

This. His comments are very positive. Coming back this Spring unofficially, and taking an official. That will be 3 times on campus, and he may even visit more than that based on the positive comments. Have to like our chances. Huge.

Whether there is or not is irrelevant, although there is one at UT. To apply to vet school there are a certain amount of core requirements/classes to take. Once you fulfill them, you can apply to vet school. You can actually get them all done in 3 years if you push it, and you don't have to graduate from undergrad b4 you can gain entrance to vet school. There is a 3 and 1 program, where if you gain entrance to vet school early, then your first year of vet school counts as your senior year of undergrad. Probably more than you guys care to know...sorry.

Huge news. Hatcher is a great player. Would be a solid addition.

Would love for him to bring Quick and White w/ him next time.

Nah but I feel like he would be one of those guys who might announce during the summer or before his senior year. I know his dad likes us too so we are in pretty good position. Hope we can pull his teammates too(Quick and White).

Get him on-board the Big Ugly train, Dooley and Sal are conducting. Excited about the types of front 7 players we're recruiting. Hatcher is legit. Definite must get.

They've started bringing violent players back to Rocky Top. Trent Taylor and Sentimore are some guys from the last class that definitely fit the violent Linemen mold.
