'13 KY DE Jason Hatcher (USCw Commit)

I'm not saying that VH or PW will be the LB. I'm saying that they might still make a hard run for Hatcher since his position is the one they need most at this point. And that's unfortunate for us.

edit to add: I see the confusion - I meant "at least one of those two [remaining spots] will be a LB" - not "at least one of [VH or PW] will be a LB"

I hope we do personally. Means we are going after the top players in the country. *Stop being scared*

Breaker, I like your approach. I used to whine and moan about a lot of things on here. But, heck, things are going to happen whether or not I have anything to say. So what if we're competing with USC or Alabama, or whoever. It's like you say, just means we're making progress. Whether we get this guy or that one doesn't make any difference; we'll get who we need in the end. It's all uphill from here.

If Hatcher went to USC he would probably be a DE for them because they run a 4-3. He has a really good body type for a Jack LB.

Hatcher will be back out in LA again soon. This time his Mom's coming with. USC is looking good here IMO.

I think people are blowing the Vet school thing out of proportion. USC has a very good reputation in the sciences. If he gets his BS, he'll be able to do his Vet school where he chooses.

The targets for our last 2 spots are Hatcher and then a DB. Willis may be out, and VH3 is going to be tough to get.

You might just have to settle for another 4* then. Damn shame...

As "awesome" as USC might be he has openly spoken of his interest in playing in the SEC. His mother also doesn't want him to go too far. If he waits until the season to see that Dooley can win then he is a VOL signee Feb 1st.

Don't want to get into an argument, but I'm pretty damn sure he's LA bound.

I guess we'll know for sure after he and his Mom visit USC next week.

USC wants early commits, so maybe he'll pull the trigger this month? I dunno.

Why so sure? He wants a pre-vet program, which you guys don't have.

I think you are sunshine pumping your own team. Let's face it, USC and a good reputation don't exactly go hand in hand. Just because someone vists doesn't mean they always commit.

Mother will not approve

Too far

Some family wanted to attend Louisville

Playing close to home and in the SEC > playing in PAC 15.5 at USC

Really? Go look up USC's ranking in the sciences. Them compare them to SEC schools.

It's possible that you're right... But it's also possible that he commits to USC soon.

I'm more curious as to what you are basing your prediction on? your gut? your dying love for USC football? My guess is a little of both.
