It's not coincidence that he wears #14, Eric Berry is his idol.

"Arkansas is interested, Illinois, Kentucky and Louisville, it's those four I've heard from."

White is hoping one school he likes will move in.

"I've sent and gotten something back from Tennessee, I like them very well," he said. "I like Eric Berry and I just like the SEC, it's a big football conference and I feel like it'd be good for me there. It's also not too far from home, close to four hours to get back home."

Looks like this kids likes his orange and white. If he wanted to play in the SEC and be close to home he could always got to KY. Sounds like the kid knows where he wants to go already.

since when is 5'10 180 not good enough size to play CB?

I don't know what these guys look at. This is average CB size to tell the truth. Maybe add 8-10 lbs and he'll be good to go. Patrick Peterson type of CBs are 1 in a generation type of players. As long as he can cover and tackle this guy's size is good to go.

The kid is a Sophomore in HS about to be a Junior, he will grow atleast 2 more inches & add more weight by August 2013.

That's not a given. I didn't grow any after my freshman year. Went from being one of the tallest to middle of the road as far as height.

I grew two inches and gained 10 lbs in muscle a year after HS. I think he'll be around 6'0 190 when it's all said and done.

“I like [the in-state schools] but I kind of want to go out,” he said. “I really like Tennessee but I’m open-minded. I don’t have a certain school. My favorite player is Eric Berry.”

“I’m going to try to get out to Alabama maybe because I talk to them a little bit,” he said

Whites team played Brentwood Academy this past weekend & beat them 45-7, his HS team is ranked top 10 in the country.

I saw him last year as a sophomore and will see him again this year in a few weeks when Trinity comes up here to Cincy to play. Trinity is absolutely loaded with talent in their junior class. White is a very good looking prospect and his size is not an issue at all. I can't believe people actually think 5'10 180 lbs for a sophomore cornerback in high school is an issue. That is pretty close to average for college corners.

What I said and know. Most CBs aren't big at all. Anybody wonder about Cliff Harris and Matheiu's size? They aren't really big guys. Just big playmakers. Justin Coleman isn't that big at CB. I don't care what he's listed at. He looks to be an average size CB. Eric Gordon is a little CB. This guy is probably around Gordon's size at the least right now.

Saw Trinity beat Cincinnati Elder 56-7 last weekend. Elder was #3 in the city and #7 in the state going into the game.

Ryan White is an elite football talent. Broke-up 5 passes and had none completed on him during the game. Also returned 2 Punts for TD's (both called back for holds). He has great speed and athleticism but the kid is super strong. He broke at least 5 tackles on both punt returns. He also looks quite a bit bigger than he's listed at. Big-time football talent for the '13 class.

we need to get ont his kid and his teammates...3 kids on that team could play here...I am from louisville and we used to recruit well up here...Bernard Jackson was a solid Vol and though he didnt work out Montrell Jones was a big time recruit for us...players like Michael Bush (Raiders) would have been nice fits down here and its time we start getting a few of these kids back in orange....tell them to quit wasting away in Louisville Red or UK Blue...its is all about the ORANGE!!!!
