Johnson is an end in the 3-4.... I think its crucial we get both...gonna be some stout competition on the DL in 2013...

Heard he contacted our staff this afternoon and staff is interested. 1st time I have heard his name mentioned UA. Our sites are saying we may make a move on him but UT is way out in front and definitely the team to beat.

UT is really starting to develop some quality depth along the DLine. That's a far cry from 2010.
OAN: I always look forward to seeing a post from Skeeter. He brings some good info.

USC wouldn't take him with their numbers crunch. Seems like a no-brainier..

Silents do not exist in recruiting.:)

But like I said everything points to UT and strong ties to the program. It would be a shocker at this point for him to end up anywhere else.

Tide still has not offered. Apparantly not sure how tall he is and if he will graduate in Dec. UA will not take a JUCO who is not an EE.

He mentioned besides UT, these schools are recruiting him pretty hard. USC, Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, and UGA. It appears though he wants to stay close to home and will more than likely end up in the SEC. Seems UGA has made a big push. Selling him on early playing time and it was mentioned that UT already has a JUCO DT that just came in.

Johnson wants to go to a program it seems that he will be the starting DT for the 2013 season. Which is what most JUCOs want to do. Like McCullers who will probably already be the starter for the 2013 season. Assuming he starts this season. So for Johnson is he willing to wait a year behind McCullers. Now maybe McCullers will not pan out, who knows. I was just stating what was in the article.:hi:

Pretty sure Johnson will be a DE, McCullers plays NT
