Yes. I trust what cp and others on the team have to say. So please don't say that a two time all American juco who has worked his tail off , loves his college for the environment , not just winning , is making stuff up about tj being a silent

And, I know exactly who you're referring to, and they've all been wrong before (even though your can't get more reliable than skeeter on this board). I was the one who just posted the positives working for us in TJ's recruitment. I like our chances. But, crazier things have happened.

I was just referring to Skeeter and i do trust what he brings. Your right he has been wrong, and thats been with players lying to Coach's. But i would be shocked if he didnt end up at UT.

So is this a case where he already knows where he is going, but will take visits to other schools because he wants the shock factor in his announcement? You know, mislead the fanbases and such.

I think it's more of a case that he knows where he is going and he just wants to take visits to confirm that he is making the right decision.

If i was a prospect and knew i was going to UT i would still take all my visits. If i had 5 it would be..UT, USC, Oregon, Texas and either Miami, FSU or Arizona ST.

If I knew where I was going, my five officials would be the following: the school I'm choosing, Arizona State, USC, Ole Miss, and tie between Texas and UCLA.

Can't get much better scenery than that.

Recruits get to go these schools for free. So they live it up, ask jay. Also it helps with the so called recruiting game , and tj is one to follow suit like cp. cp had us all scared , but he did it right, no regrets .

When Inky Johnson came on his first visit to UT, he didn't "live it up" like every other football player. He decided to stay in because that was the first time he got a bed all to himself.

Yea I heard that, inky is a one of kind guy, but I think these other recruits want to party .

everybody's situation is different. look, the guy has 5 chances to live it up at these other schools, on their dime. It's FREE. Hell, let the guy go have some fun and be the center of attention. He'll be treated like a king at all of the places, and then he'll turn right around and commit to us. No big deal. CP seemed to enjoy it, and from what I hear told EVERY school that he went to that they were his favorite. In the end, he came here, and is gonna help us WHIP DEY AZZ. So it's all good :).

Most feel allowing the kid to take all his visits and "live it up" is what should happen. Only problem with that is situations like Otha. "He is all VOL, let him take his visits and have a good time". Whoops.

Two of my 5 officials would absolutely be Washington and Colorado.

Totally agree -- he has been a Vol for a long time, but wants to enjoy being a highly sought after recruit. Let him enjoy his time in the limelight.
