There's also a post on that thread that says Tennessee isn't getting 1 of the 5 OV's. I'm by no means an insider, but i'm getting really nervous about this one. Want him bad tho.

I wouldn't worry about not getting an official. If he were truly using his officials to decide between schools I guarantee you we would have one. This will be over by the time he takes his officials.

i didnt even know about the 2 teammates commited now so i see why you say guys lock more now

i thought it was just CP and the coach my bad :lol:

And that means what exactly? Only a handful of teams have Johnson's legitimate interest. So I would surmise most people outside of the 2 or 3(if you count Nebraska) schools with a shot of landing his services don't know much about anything other than what they read on message boards. I.e. you not knowing about that really doesn't mean anything.

I would be totally shocked if Toby does not sign with Tennessee. In fact, I would be very surprised if he has not been a "silent" to Tennessee for a good while.

Johnson says OU is at 'the top of his list'.
"I liked the visit a lot," Johnson said. "Coach Shipp and I got a good relationship. I got the chance to sit down and talk with a lot of the coaches. They said they are going to put me in position to make plays. I also got the chance to sit down and talk to Casey (Walker). Casey sat down and told me how much they need me."

Johnson says Oklahoma would be a good fit for him and talked about knowing that coach Shipp could prepare him for the NFL.

"I just feel like OU would be a good place for me. I know they got a winning tradition and that's what I want to do. And I know coach Shipp will help get me to the next level."

Now, who isn't worried at all about OU? Kool-aid drinkers on one side. Everyone with sense form a line on the other side.

I still believe he will be a Vol, but to say we don't have competition from OU (and Nebraska) is ridiculous. I'm not worried about UGA at all.

I think thats fair. His recruitment to me feels alot like CP's last year, and there was a 2 month period I was convinced CP was not a Vol.

I went back and forth between UGA/UT there for a bit regarding CP, but there were just too many rumors going on for him not to end up at UT.

T. Johnson has so many people pulling him to UT, but I think OU definitely has a shot at him. Especially if we bomb the season.
