We should offer all norcross players! Really though, an elite 315 dt is harder to get than an elite Rb. Just not here at Tn

So right now he goes to the same school as Toby Johnson and CP? We certainly have multiple connections with this guy. Croom, Toby, CP, and the coach we just hired from there.

All about building those relationships bro. From seeing some of the guys who are coming out of norcross it seems as though that school/area has plenty of talent. It wont hurt to have future prospects be able to see guys from their high school come to Tennessee and have success. Pipelines are all important.

Norcross High does have a lot of talent and I'm glad to see us making inroads there. Had a relative who taught there a while back. The last year there (2006) the team had a perfect regular season, losing a heart-breaker in the play-offs. They were fun to watch live - good offense/good defense.

Anyway - not surprised to read more and more big prospects are coming out of that school.

Well we just picked up another commitment from Hutchinson C. C.
haha. This is crazy, we're doin work in Kansas haha. CP last year, De'Vondre Campbell this year, and many think we lead for Toby Johnson, and it would be great to get Ben Bradley too. Wow, I would say Hutchinson C. C. is definitley turning into a major pipeline.

Mzterry mentioned this guy a LONG time ago, and said to remember his name. I believe he signed with Penn State out of HS...not sure why he went the JUCO route. I would guess grades, but that may be wrong. Looks like we found our nose guard for the 2013 class.

I'm beginning to like the fact that Couch has 3 years here more and more. A third year couch, along with McCullers, Sentimore, Danny O'Brien, and Trent Taylor in their second year, plus a couple of Jucos this year like Ben Bradley and Toby Johnson could give us the best DLine that we have had in a while.

Our DL in 2013 could be SICK....

Couch
Sentimore
Walls
Saulsberry
Obrien
McCullers
Taylor
Carr
Clark
Carson
Hood
Johnson?
Bradley?
Latham?

That's top of the SEC type talent & depth.

Seeing that type of depth is music to my ears. Also don't forget about Rod Crayton.

Forgot about him, & we are also in Elijiah Daniels top group.

We're in his top 2 if I'm not mistaken with UF as our main competition. Either way it's good to see that we're in on alot of good quality D-lineman.

That defensive line, to go along with Coleman, Bonner and Lanier at CB, along with McNeil, Randolph, and Moore at safety. If only we hadn't missed out on Peters and Santos. I like our starting LB's and luckily you have to figure Lathers is a prime candidate to get a sixth year of eligibility, but we still just don't have the depth. If we can get just a couple of players to step up next year and provide quality minutes as a backup that is a top of the SEC type talent on the whole defense.

You left Tino Thomas off the list at CB(going to be good if he moves back there for good). AJ and Curt as juniors will be nice. Senior D.Sapp and Junior J.Williams will be fine at LB. We play well this year we'll pull a couple of LBs that will be able to come in and provide good depth in their 1st year.

Knew I was forgetting somebody. Also, think Orta could be a contributor with another year in our strength and conditioning program, he just strikes me as a player sal would like with the mean streak that he plays with. Also, you are probably right about the LB thing

Orta needs to be playing CB.

we're doing a lot of JUCO recruiting...

I dont know how to feel about that, an overabundance reeks of desperation by a coaching staff and usually leads to a lot of High expectations:Huge Misses.

Feels almost like the old Miss. St. days under Sherill.

No guarantee that Couch will stay. He's projected in the 3rd round of 2013 draft already, and that could get better if this whole year is like the 2nd half of last year.

Short term success with JUCOs can lead to recruiting success with HS kids. We need wins right now more than we need redshirts.
