40 times are completely overblown often times, IMO.

There are guys who'll run sub 4.4's in shorts but as soon as they put on pads and hit the field they look more like a 4.7.

How does this kid look on tape?

That's what I'm concerned with....

Our coaches either are going out to visit him this week or have already visited him this week, and SpringBokVol followed that up by saying he will be our next commit. Also Hubbs or Fortenberry (can't remember which one) said something similar.

Please be true. We will never be successful running the 3-4 until we get corners like this who can not only set the edge but also turn and run w WRs.

This would be a nice pick up since we don't seem to be in it with Ramsey or Alexander. Garland, JRM, and Sutton are nice corners to go along with Bell and Miles at Saftey.

Sure its been discussed but his offer list isn't that great. Coaches know far more than me though.

They may both play the same position in this defense but their roles will be drastically different. The nickel position in Sal's defense is tailored to the individual's strengths and weaknesses.

I think JRM will be a safety while a guy like Vonn Bell would man the star position. That's just what I like personally.

Garland told me earlier this week he hadn't heard from the Vols in a while.

He doesn't hold a offer from Cincy so I'm guessing they won't be pursuing him.

Why is CBJ not pursuing more of these "leftover" players with authority? Forget their past...its time we step out of the box and do whatever it takes to win. If that means giving a kid a second chance, then I say go for it! What do we have to lose at this point. We are immune to disappointing and bad news....taking a chance on one of these kids and it backfiring wouldnt even phase us to say the least lol
