'13 JUCO DB Khambrel Garland

So when can we expect his commitment to become official I like this kid especially after I saw his sr film at st thomas. Does anyone know where I can find juco highlights on him?

The "armed robbery" incident definitely changed everything. No way Vols cud take his commit fresh off the Clear problem. Now fact he wasn't charged helps him possibly end up a Vol but doesn't say a lot for potential character issues down the road (alleged).

Didn't Bonner have some type of legal troubles last year.

Yes, but taking iPods from a locker room on a visit and armed robbery are two different crimes.

Granted, Garland wasn't charged. However, we've had our fair share of high profile crimes here on The Hill, and it seems we may be wary of bringing that specter back to campus.

I hope he is apart of this class this guy is scary good and would be a good fill in for Pwagg when he leaves

Agreed I think he is a good kid and just made a bad decision and got caught up with the wrong people the VFL program would be perfect for him.

This. Not often a high school kid owns his mistakes. Shows he at least has potential to be a quality person.
. Really? He is on his second different Junior College and has been in some type of trouble with the law or authorities. Tennessee can do better iMO

I am an excellent judge of people I have never met, and I disagree. Even though I wouldn't recognize him if he came to my door selling Bibles, I feel certain he is a nice human being and fully capable of being a VFL.

A kid with armed robbery in his background, is not someone we want.

He wasnt charged. His buddy was. I mean you could be out with friends and a guy hold up a store while your in the car and you not have a clue.

I think he wasn't charged as far as I can tell.

I don't believe he was charged...at least not from what I've read.

That being said, I understand the argument that things happen under your nose and you don't realize it.

I still think that irregardless we are in on some high quality high school WR's, and I would personally take Harris or North first.

In before someone blasts you for using "irregardless"
