Like I've said in other threads, I used to live in OH for a while. They are by far the worst fans. if you are from another school, they will scratch your car, throw beer on you, and abuse you anyway they can.

I'll take Tennessee any day of the week. Our fans win with pride and party along side most rivals.

Urban Meyer does not believe in redshirting. He doesn't start guys based on seniority. Agree or disagree with that that is his philosophy, the best players will play. We are pretty experienced at safety, but I think he will definitely be a factor on special teams from the get go. Very few true freshman start at safety, especially at big time programs so I'd say that starting from day one here would be unlikely..but not impossible. Vonn's recruitment was very strange, he never seemed to have a true leader I think he is telling the truth when he says his heart was with the Vols. Now that he's here though, I think he will fit in nicely. We have a great tradition when it comes to DB's.

Maybe I have the wrong attitude, and if so, then so be it. But the very second Vonn Bell picked up a hat that was not orange, I no longer "wish him well."

I hope he is the biggest bust in recruiting history and he never plays a single down... and I hope Ohio St. never wins another game, and that Urban Meyer gets fired and is poor for the rest of his life.

But hey that's just me.

I don't see how you can take so much pride in your team knowing you were barely good enough to beat a 4-8 Indiana team by 3 points. This is a different league down here, I would say there are MAYBE 3 teams in the SEC that would have lost to OSU, and I don't believe Tennessee is one of them.

Did y'all even play a ranked opponent in your "awesome undefeated season"!? You have no bragging rights. You would not have crossed the 50 yard line playing against any of the possible NC candidates.

Dude - we got absolutely CRUSHED by a Vandy team that lost to Northwestern. Grow up! :crazy:

Vonn made the right choice for Vonn...it's not about the looney tunes on this board. I will say that Dooley's suckitude contributed to this. People who are going take this out on Butch aren't being fair. Good luck to him at Ohio State. We ain't going to sink or swim based on one guy.

Northwestern would have beat Ohio State. I think most would agree that was a pretty strong Northwestern team. They beat MS State too. Vandy would have beaten OSU as well.

The point is, OSU sucked this year. Just played a weak enough schedule to skate by. THAT is a fact. I admitted in my post that we were bad and went 5-7..... read again before you rush to defend your Ohio State buddy and argue against your "fellow UT fan".

Vonn was just never a VFL. He played the game and we got burned. It happens and will again. Wonder how ASU feels about Josh Dobbs?

No worries. Vonn Bell will be a bust. Flat footed and cannot run well backing up. Will be a marginal back-up player and special teams contributor. Wasted scholarship for OSU and UT. Can you say over-rated?

Don't be ridiculous. Bell will be a stud..however I really do think TKjr ends up better than him.
