Who knows if this decision was made 5 minutes before he took the stage? Winning is sometimes more important than following your heart. I imagine its not an easy decision for a lot of these kids.

lol it's ok. I will not make excuses. I should have never said anything about the dad calling, that was a mistake. Miller himself called and said he was a vol and that one stuck. I need to remember in the end it's the kids choice of where he will spend his next 3-5 years and not always the parents.

I don't bash anyone that has inside info. I never take any of it as gospel anyways because these are 17-18 year old kids that switch at the last minute all the time. Add boosters into the mix, and anything can happen.

I just thought that Vonn, himself, had called and when a lifelong fan of UT calls you figure it's rock solid. Just didn't realize it was his dad.

I don't wish him well personally. Not football wise anyway I hope he never plays a down at OSU. However, I hope he gets a good college education and has a nice life in Ohio.

Or maybe not. Nobody knows, and the decision has been made.

Besides, results on the field are what matters, and if Butch wins, these guys will start coming and we will get a real train rolling. It's that simple. Writing everything off already is asinine.

Fact is that they are cheating or have far better recruiters. I don't care which, nor does the NCAA, I just want that on Rocky Top.

I'm tired if seeing everyone else but Tennessee be successful.

He claimed the Vonn and his family was playing the "Gabe Wright" game and he clearly wasnt. and that is/was a travesty

It doesn't help that Dooley didn't stay in contact with Bell, and recruit him consistently while he was here. But Bell made this choice. Why even drag it out? Why give us a chance? Just to get our hopes up and let us down? I'm not one to bash a kid, so I'll put that aside, but I'm very pissed off at this turn out. I don't blame coach Jones one bit.

Vonn Bell is a LIAR and him or his family will ever be welcome in Knoxville. He was no Vol fan turned his back on us when we needed him I hope he breaks his leg and never plays a down for Meyer. Tennessee Vol fan my ass F U Bell
