Unless me and about 50 others in and around Chattanooga are getting trolled by Vonn himself , I will say 100% certain. His Mother and Father love UT as does Vonn.

We sure hope so, I think we land Bell.Bell is vital for us, he will be a special player. Hoping we land a few more undecided players too. We need Jaylen Miller and Malik Brown on the DL. Love to land Dobbs, and would love to land another LB. Ford probably goes to aub but maybe we get a surprise for a change tommorow. It's definetly too early to get down yet! GO VOLS!!

You gave the impression that it was UT fans when you said that you would not come here.

The fans have a right to voice concern and criticism. If it had not been for the fans Hart would have kept Dooley another year. If you expect the fans to cheer for excellence then your are crazy to think that we are not going to scream about mediocrity.

If my kid was a recruit I would want them to go to a school that had a fan base that cared and was not passive about their program. We are the same people that cheered this program in the 80's and 90's and our fervor is just as intense now. We just happen to set our standards on this program winning.

This isn't the 80s and 90s anymore. And no this is not the same fan base I grew up with in the 80's And 90's. not even close buddy.

BigAl you are fighting a battle here you can't win. It's different now because of sites like this. The answer is people like mzterry need to stay off such sites.

Hart was willing to give him another year if he won 7 games. Most said that was too low. No way he could go bowl less 2 years in a row and keep a job. That shouldn't even happen at UK.

This. I appreciate BigAl's passion but its not going to change. This place and every other message board is full of crybaby idiots. Just put them on ignore and stay positive, it's not all bad on VN, mostly good in fact. At least in the recruiting forum :) (Except when recruits choose other schools of course, then it's meltdown city!)

I am still relatively young, but I was rooting in the 90's and started at UT in late 90's. To me, it seems our fan base has gotten a bit spoiled and whiny. Yes, I love to win, and I am very competitive. But we got so used to winning that people didn't know what it was like to falter. It will be nice when we get back to that kind of level. The basketball fan base is yet another story for another discussion.

Buckeye fan here, been checking in randomly since signing day is coming up...but one of scout.com's recruiting analysts recently changed his pick for Vonn Bell to Tennessee. He had said yesterday that Ohio State was the favorite. We'll know for sure tomorrow, but for now things are trending your way. Good luck.

No way. You can't tell me Hart was giving him another year if we were 5-7. Hart knew money and attendance would be an issue. If Dooley had gone 7-5, then I understand. He would have beaten two of Carolina, Missouri, or Vandy.
