I was listening to the EA show this morning on TSR and apparently they are wanting to do something with painting the rock for Vonn. Not sure how serious they are but some of our rock painters maybe could tweet EA or something and organize something. EA did say if they get the rock painted for the recruits and some chick decides she wants to ask a guy out by painting over it that things could get physical lol.

Okay, you worried me for a minute.

No.

In short

Alabama seems to have made a pretty significant impression with Bell. Here's what Coach Mariakis had to report about the safety's recent official visit to Alabama, per Ostendorf:

"He said it went wonderful,” Mariakis said. “They rolled the red carpet out like they do for all those kids. They had a great time doing things on campus and also at Coach Saban’s house. I think he said they went to Coach Saban’s house twice -- one evening for dinner and then the next morning for breakfast -- and just had a great time.

They kind of saw Coach Saban in a different light, off campus, and just had a good talk. They had all the questions answered that they had. His quote was, ‘It was just Alabama. It was good. No wonder they win national championships every year because everything is laid out and they have a plan for everything.'"

If your going to put the recruits names on the rock, it needs to be ALL the recruits visiting. Just putting the headliner on there sends a bad message to the rest of the kids considering UT or that have already chose UT. For all anyone knows Bell seeing just his name on there could turn out to be a bad thing. If he is a team player, he may expect to see the whole group recognized.

I thought it was a violation to have recruits at your home as a coach??? Didn't we just go thru that a couple of years ago with the BB program?

So the dinner and breakfast, are those self reported violations. Im thinking if a hotdog at CBP house sunk the pearl ship ..

Come on Ertel, make it happen!!!

Pearl got in trouble because the players were JR'S on high school, nothing wrong with SR'S.

Thanks, I really don't understand all the rules that just got my feathers ruffled a lil as to why king satan could do it but we got sanctions and lost a great coach! Thanks for clearing it up for me sorry for my ignorance!!! 😁

so, this is a quote from his coach, not Bell himself. It was wonderful, they treated him like they do "all those kids". He didn't so much mention Bell on his own but "They" many times.

I like what was said about our coaches and school much better (from Bell himself) and he's not even taken his official visit yet.

Vonn Bell, five-star safety, Ridgeland High School (Rossville, Ga.):

Bell took an official visit to Alabama this past weekend and visited Ohio State last week. Tennessee is making a late charge at the life-long Volunteer fan. Butch Jones had his in-home visit with Bell and his family on Monday. He will visit Tennessee this weekend. Alabama appears to have a slight edge at this time. He is expected to announce a decision at 9:00 a.m. (EST) on signing day.

only thing to add to the above post to make it 100% accurate is that tOSU still has 1 in-home visit, and the last visit, left to go.
