Bone for the most part barely goes out on a limb and will usually never say anything that is not already out there floating around and the others that have legit inside sources have already stated. But last year he blew it big time on LC at the end. Now that he has changed sites he seems to be better but makes less predictions as well.

Redfish and Bama K probably are the 2 most legit for info. They called the Yeldon flip with exactly how and when it would happen before even AU got wind of anything and any other UA site. They also called Jenkins to UGA last year when Bone and the others were still saying UA. As well and the A taylor flip and many more. Redfish called the Foster flip this spring before he transferred.

In regards to Bell they feel UA is in a good position right now. But it seems his mother really likes CUM and OSU. Also feels that UT has a legit shot with the visit. The best thing for both UA and UT is he will visit both after OSU.

I know all about what happened at the end with LC but to say it was only Bone is just wrong. An LSU coach leaked that Collins was going to LSU to try and sway him so most writers were saying something might be changing.

Anyway.. not trying to mess with this thread but its silly to me that people bash Bone.. he knows his stuff as much as a writer can. I agree there are some 'insiders' that call some situations like Yeldon, Taylor, etc.

I doubt Vonn would tell Bone anything. Vonn is not a fan of Rivals because he is not ranked as high. He prefers 247 where he is a 5-star. This is what 202020 said a while ago.

Bone nowadays just follows the crowd and does not make big guesses. Anything he his saying is already out there. Just reading his chats unless it is known widely he will not answer directly a question but usually avoids putting himself out there. Some could be because of previous backlash which is just the nature of recruiting and crazy fans.

Like most believe if Bell would have committed already it probably would have been to UA, but now it is wide open. But no one needed a paid site to undercover that info. Boards like this produce far more valid info than any pay site. Just have to piece it all together like a puzzle sometimes.

Don't think anyone is comparing career accomplishments as much as pointing out that winning coaches in the SEC started on smaller scales before coming to the SEC and succeeding. Winning is winning. Could add Petrino to the group as well. Though he didn't win any NCs, he proved he could coach at the SEC level.

I think Bell WANTS to be a Vol. I think he wants to buy into Butch and that he's really hoping we leave an impression during his last visit. Giving us the last visit is huge, and might be the reason we have a real shot. I think this kid wants to be a Vol, and everything rests with Butch Jones and the staff during his visit. If it goes well, I think he signs with UT.

Just a hunch.

My biggest sell to him would be playing time. He could come in and have a chance at starting somewhere in the defensive backfield day one and with success could be there for three or four years breaking records if he played well enough.

I hope you're right. But we don't win many recruiting wars against UA these days.

I think that's the first time anyone ever said that the VN produces any valid info--and from a Bammer fan no less.

Still have to wade through all the bizarre and convoluted puzzle pieces to get to the ones that actually fit.

I would not say rare. Maybe UA has gotten more recruits it wanted that both were after but not many when it came down to crunch and both were in the final group.

D Henry this year and the jury is still out for Bell. But UT beat out UA head to head for Richardson, Stone, and Clear. Not to mention UT flipped J James.

Again UA might get more off the wishlist but head to head it seems Saban has lost more than won against UT lately. And the one thing those 3 have in common with Bell is they are all from TN. Just saying

I would say OSU is the team in the lead. Bell has his OV planned for Jan 18th to UA, but Saban how now scheduled his inhome visit for Jan 14th. You would think he would wait until after the UT visit, but I think the fact that Bell just said his mother really likes OSU and Meyer and he is now visiting them, where he was not before, puts OSU in the drivers seat for the moment.

But it is recruiting and a visit can change everything.
