I hope who ever we hire strikes a change in this guy. It's so hard to see a kid so interested in Tennessee but then we drop the ball and they look else where and get that attention from another program. Then next season we are seeing them making top plays in another teams jersey.

I like Bell, it has a ring to it.

Bowman may be a slight bit faster, but this guy is on a different level as a football player.

He made very clear he wanted to go to Tennessee, but Tennessee has not really approached him yet... let's put it this way... if Tennessee offers...he is a Vol..this kid grew up dreaming about playing for Tennessee

Ridgeland plays Friday at home in the semis in the state playoff..they win there and they go to Atlanta to play for the state championship..so.. he has a minimum of one if not two more games left...

I thought 2020(?) debunked this already. Just saying because Bell moved to TN what 6 or 7 years ago from Dallas.

And unless I missed something UT has already offered him. The problem was more that UT did not make him a top priority and stay on him, but the offer is out there.

Yeah they offered a while back. Bell has an issue with the current coaching situation.

Based on your most recent discussions with Bell, if you had to make a prediction today on where he ends up playing college ball, where would it be?

If UT gets a good coach he will come to UT.

The people around him have told him if he goes to Bama he will sit for at least two years and that is the time the NFL really starts looking at you.

Last time I spoke with him Bama was definitely #1 awhile I think he was a little concerned about their depth awhile back now he is thinking I slide to corner to get playing time faster and I am getting trained by the best in the game Nick Saban.

Ohio State is definitely #2 they would have been in the NC game this year and he would be getting playing time too so thats definitely a plus as well not to mention they have a top 5 coach with a lot of pro prospects as well.

Tenn the only way I say is Petrino or Strong and they dont know much about Strong just that he is an Urban disciple but a lot of people down here dont think they will hire him because of race. That tenn cant have a blk basketball and football coach. But right now tenn just is not a smart move getting killed by Vandy and two years without even a bowl game. SAD

With the lack of proven depth at CB next year, he could definitely play early.

Bama is the greatest team in history and solid at every position. Well, at least until you have to start recruiting. Then you just wouldn't even believe all the holes they have.

You apparantly have not seen UA play this year. Our best DBs are the young guys except for Milliner. Why our staff is trying to bring in atleast 2 if not 3 more in this class.

Everything I have read is Bell is being recruited to play star and he would not redshirt next year.

Its only a hole if you dont have talent to step in but of course thats not the case. CB is just one of those position that Bama will have a player for the 3rd year in row leave early for the draft so that tends to leave alot of young talent to fight over a few spots. Vonn isnt a must because they already have 2 DBs committed but he would have as much as a chance to play as those guys. Its not a knock on the DB at Bama its more about how talented Vonn Bell is

That university in T-town is a revolving door. Players who can't hang transfer. Players that are outstanding leave early. Terrible problem to have, let me tell you...
