Jay, I like your list, but do you really think we have a chance at Ryan Green? My three would be

Corn
Dye
Kamara

I have a good feeling about Elder for sure... Also think Kamara's relationship with Croom has us in a good place.. I would also add that Keyante Green's recruitment is far from over.. Could be wrong.. I think we will definitely take 3 RB's in '13 but then again the limited spots in terms of the 85 could change the amount of recruits we take in total in '13 thus changing the amount of RB's.. LB's and OL are also strong needs in next years class

I honestly doubt he gets much SEC attention. His stock really plummeted. He's one of those guys who just didn't develop into the kind of prospect schools early on projected he would become.

I think he's a take for the lower level SEC teams just because of his potential. That, and you know James Franklin would love to brag that he got a guy who has "offers" from Georgia and Tennessee.

Yeah. I could see maybe Kentucky, Vandy, Ole Miss give him a firm offer but that is about it. I'd take the UCLA offer over those 3 too.

He still has camps and his senior year. It's possible that his name will pop back up come December.

It's still really early in the process, and there still might be a chance that we try to get him on board. Don't know how likely that is, but there is still time here.

Do you guys think that there is any chance that Kamara has already given a silent commitment to the coaches? They know we need an elite back this class...Tyren Jones is gone; Tyshon Dye appears to be all but gone; sounds like Ty Isaac will stay up north. I know that Keyante's stock has dropped a lot, but he could blow back up his senior year. Just curious as to why we have closed the door. Plus, I know that we will take more than one RB this class.

Oops, no disrespect to Derrick...completely forgot about him, but still we need at least 2 RBs this class. At least one needs to be elite...if we could pull Kamara and D. Green, then I would be ecstatic and call it a day at RB.

Me too. But after the last recruiting cycle, I'd rather the coaches tell him "no" now and than for them to accept a commitment and then tell him to look around in December.

This is going to be a small class, numbers-wise. Can't accept commitments this early on from kids they're not 100% sold on.
