Thought so. Camden County is loaded year in and year out with talent! If he is starting for them, then he is most likely a pretty good player. Would be a good get, if some others don't pan out...may be a good get period.

Any idea how would he be used? Safety/LB hybrid? Seems like a Khalid Henderson type with that weight at around 205.

Ready to start more depth at this key position! He is a good player very aware of the ball, has good speed and don't worry about his weight. He has over a yr to put on weight. They have a great coach at that school. So yea he would be a pick up. Get him early is a steal. I watched tape on him.

Named Auburn his leader.

He wants to visit Tennessee again sometime this Spring/Summer, he said maybe the O&W game.

For all his faults of not going after some of the big names, Dooley did prove to me that he could evaluate some under the radar guys and wasn't afraid to go on a limb and offer them early. I remember when we were the first to offer Davis, then AU followed and now UF at the very end. We're just not in the position to get in on kids late and have them flip very often, like Bama and UF.

You make a very good point. But some offers and commitments did not make a whole lot of sense. You also should point out that UT had the most scholly offers out there.

You have commitable offers and then you have offers to other guys that are more of back up offers. It seemed that he would accept the commitments of the back up offers too early.

He definitely had some questionable offers and questionable "acceptances". However, I'd say Davis' offer was committable from the get go.

Randolph is really the only "under the radar" guy Dooley got that has overachieved. Now he's got a bum knee.

I said his ability to evaluate and offer under the radar guys before others, not close on them. When Dooley offered Davis he had 0 offers and was unranked. Now he's a top 30 LB on his way to an 11-1 BCS program. Muschamp waited 6 months to offer this kid, Dooley didn't.

:eek:k:

I understand what you're saying, but i can't believe that considering how late to the party DD was for Vonn Bell, and he never really recruited Corn Elder. Morris should be a Vol too. I feel pretty lucky that we were able to keep JRM from Ole Miss.

Not sure why he took his commitment, but I guess the staff likes him and we are at the point where we need some LB bodies
