early interest from players like this could turn into some interesting story lines, should Tennessee actually make a little noise on the football field this year. you never know if/why a kid may fall in love with a particular school, but a winning school is always attractive.

While I think it's obvious he's doing this for attention, it is a positive in that other recruits will see that the best player in the country likes Tennessee. That can't hurt.

I personally hope he chooses ole miss since it more than likely won't be us, just so I can laugh at saben's expense

Yeah he is all about the attention and to be honest I never enjoy the recruits that have to have the full dog and pony show. Probably the reason I never liked Kiffin he was the same way and made the recruiting process a circus.

If I were a Tide fan I wouldn't have liked Kiffin either. He out coached Saban in their one matchup.

Kiffin was a little immature, but otherwise a very smart guy. I don't get all the Kiffin hate from those he didn't leave behind. Personally, I found him far more likable than Urban Meyer. His HC experience at Tennessee serves him well at USC, which should be a good team this year.

I agree, I liked Kiffen when he was here, and the only dislike I have for him is for ditching us like he did. He's a good coach, but I think he'd have gotten us in trouble, so I'm happy with the change.

I hate Meyer though, sleezy and shady to the core, he bleeds slime like a politician, and is by far the most overrated coach out there.
